I think he must have had gastric bypass surgery. Sups obviously lost that weight between The Butterfly Effect and when they shot that pilot.

Look at him in old "Boy Meets World" reruns, or the movie "American History X"...I was pretty surprised by his weight loss.

I knew this show would be good. Jason Lee was reason enough to know that.
I was also surprised to see Leo Fitzpatrick- from the now 10 year old controversial film "Kids".

Couldn't agree more. So far this is my favorite new show of the season!

The way I figure it, once he's scratched off the 258 items on his list, he will only be even with Kharma. If he really wants good things to happen to him he'll have to do even more good deeds to get ahead.

Pretty funny show...I laughed out loud when he and his brother backed out of Kenny's room after finding out he's a "homosexual-American"

This was great and had tremendous potetial. Jason Lee and Ethan Suplee was pretty much a lock for me considering I'm a huge Kevin Smith mark. I hope they stick with the flashbacks of the bad deeds because that was funny.

The voice-overs seemed a little forced at times, but I liked it enough to keep watching ... though how long until the ex finds his money stashed in his dashboard?

Funny stuff. Definitely worth the entire season, unless it goes drastically downhill. Loved the kickball, the Afro on his son, and Jaime Pressley's perfect white trash trailer chick (wait, was she acting?? ) The final bit when the song came on in the gay club....

"Oh no you didnt!"

Jason Lee and Ethan Suplee :

I liked it, Not as funny as I was hoping, since my favorite parts were shown mostly in the previews, still a very good comedy. I like ones that arent like the usual "sitcoms"

definitely the funniest part of the show for me (and the kickball flashback). "I'd never been faced with a Gay before. Maybe running wasn't the best response" (or however it went). and 99 Luftbaloons playing in the background.

Also liked the ending with the "old school". "Oh no you didn't!"

Overall, a really good show. And being that this was the Pilot, I can't wait for what's to come.

Although i really hope jaime pressly is only in this in VERY small bits and pieces, if at all.

I thought the show was hilarious. Loved when the hooker ran into the guys house and very excitedly said "Hey, can I borrow your toothbrush". Stuff like that was just so unexpected that I laughed out loud more than once. I liked the show a lot.

Loved it.

Loved Lee, Suplee and Nadine

However, the end felt a 'lil rushed. I mean, he tormented this kid for his entire life and it was resolved that quick?

But I can't wait for next week's.

Oh, and if you think the maid looked hot, do a search in the Adult forum. There's pics there. [i'd link it, but i'm pretty sure links to the adult forum are frowned upon...even if the pics are your garden variety Maxim/FHM type pics]..

I know it was in the previews, but Earl's backing out of the room with his hands up was still hilarious.

Does anyone know the name of the song that was being played when Earl picked up the gay magazine? It was in another language so I couldn't recognize it at all.

I watched this during commercial breaks of House and I'll definitely check it out on Bravo, next Monday night I guess. I caught the part where they back out of the room after Ethan Suplee finds the gay mag, funny funny stuff.

I thought it was pretty good, hopefully not the best new show, but I'll keep watching. I don't expect it to go drastically downhill though because they have the simple formula. If it goes south it will probably just be from getting repetetive and old. Last year's big formulaic show was House, and that turned into one of my absolute favorites, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Kinda funny how I've had this opinion that Jason Lee is a bit of an arrogant tool, completely based on an interview I saw him do on the Carson Daly show.

I seem to be in the minority cause I wasn't all that impressed. This show is similar to Two and a Half Men in that it's pretty dumbed down. That isn't meant as a knock on anyone who liked it and I'll give it another shot next week.
