Why aren't YOU watching "Arrested Development"?
Well, why aren't you?
9 out of 10 TV Talk posters who have seen it agree: it's one of the best shows on television, comedy or otherwise.
Critical acclaim, emmy noms, emmy wins, but the ratings are crap...what are you waiting for? A written invitation? WELL, HERE IT IS.
Come on, it's on TONIGHT (9/19) and it's only 30 minutes of your time (22 minutes if you DVR).
WARNING: this show does have a bit of a "learning curve." It takes most people 3-4 episodes to "get into it." So, don't be discouraged immediately!
Note: this is not directed at those who gave the show a good chance in the past, and found that it wasn't their cup of tea. It's directed to those of you who have never seen the show at all.

man, i'll be watching.
but what a monday to do the season premiere. it will not do well in the ratings, as it's going against the NFL. Any other monday, it'd be fine, but tonight's the NFL doubleheader (Giants/Saints, followed by Cowboys/Redskins)

The NFL double header might hurt, but typically AD will only be against MNF in the Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones.
I always record AD to rewatch anyway. You almost have to to catch all of the jokes.

I've watched it a couple times, including a marathon that was on one weekend. It just doesn't do much for me.
Although I would rather watch it rather than some cookie cutter scripted, dumb fat working class guy/cute wife & family sitcom that seems to dominate whats left of the 1/2 hour comedy world anymore.

Oh, I'll be watching. It has worked it's way into my list as favorite sitcom, so I am now contractually obligated to watch it.

I guess I should be. I think Monday was the only day last season that I didn't have anything on. Maybe I'll rent the first season first though.

I'm ready, oh boy am I ready!
"I don't want no part of your tired ass country club, ya freak bitch"
"It's not easy being white"
"It's Not Easy being Brown"
"It's not Easy being bright"
"I've got children all over town"
"Sometimes..."
*the empty chair swirls around*
"Hey, where'd the guy go?"

I have yet to see an episode. Not that I don't want to, I'm just really bad when it comes to when certain shows air. I missed a whole season of The Shield and Rescue Me. I watch very few television shows because of this.

Because it's aggressively, disastrously unfunny.
And I tried, repeatedly to like the show. It's cleverly written. I'll give it that. But not once did I laugh out loud like I have at other sitcoms. I pored through the first DVD of the first season and tried several times to watch random episodes last year.

so whose "chicken" dance have we seen? GOB, Lindsey... Didn't we see Lucille's?
I'd love to see George Sr.'s and Buster's.
