I don't think they're "staged" but I think the talent is aware that the interviewer is working for Comedy Central. Some probably just play along better than others.
On a side note, anyone know if there was an episode on Thursday (Thanksgiving) night? My DVR didn't pick anything up.

I'm surprised it's coming back since this type of show doesn't usually go on a long hiatus. Also, David Spade was just on Kimmel and he didn't mention it.

I agree that it's odd that this kind of show would go on hiatus. Maybe Spade had other commitments? It seems like Comedy Central would want it running roughly weekly, with only a few gaps in new episodes.

He's back!
The show started up again tonight. It hasn't changed from previous seasons, which in my opinion is a good thing. The "There I Said It" bit about so-called Ugly Betty was especially good. So was the hit piece on Lost fans.
