I'm personally hoping it was just misleading,
Spoiler:
but the commercial for this week's episode was WAY too spoilerish if it ends up panning out the way it implies (Tommy's son gets hit by car)

Spoiler:
I think it is red herring. I could swear that his kid has chrome wheels on his bike and the one that is hit has black wheels, or vise-versa.

Hmm, for some reason on my DVR this was listed as a repeat, so it didn't record it. Luckily they are doing the typical reairing later tonight.

Spoiler:
Jesus....that beating...and poor Chief, poor wife ugh so depressing, and Lou's getting so played it's ridiculous and ugh to kid getting hit by a car... kinda seems... really overdone, I mean his oldest daughter almost died already, a little too much, oh well, the funny parts were very funny at least. It's so freaking well acted though omg, so depressing, blood all over tommy, how freaking depressing jeez, what a downer of an episode minus probie's normal stuff

Where was Damian when his mom needed him? That was brutal.

Damn, I don't think Jerry's year can get any worse.

Yes, it was. I don't even know if I'm in the mood to watch "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" now.

My god. They really could have shocked the hell out of us if they hadn't given away so much in last weeks preview, but still even though i knew it was coming I honestly felt a little sick at the end. that was a serious trip.

And 1 more to go? Next week is going to be rough.

That was a rough episode. Between Sheila's getting the shit kicked out of her and the accident at the end, it seemed like it was a lot to through in one episode.

Probie and Sean were great agin though and the look on Sean's face when Franco told him he fucked his sister was great

I cringed during the beating.

If Dennis Leary doesn't get nominated for an Emmy It will truly be a shame.

Probably.

But this episode ... wow. I didn't think it was overdone with his son at all - it was entirely plausable.

Everything else, though. Between Jerry's wife, Kenny's girl, Tommy's family, Franco's dilemma and whatever else I'm missing ... I have this terrible feeling that the finale is going to be unbelieveably depressing.

And I thought I had problems what with the price of gas being so high.
Shit like this really puts it in perspective.

Why did Tommy's wife slap him in the face there in the hospital at the end? I don't see what happened as necessarily being Tommy's fault. It was a tragic accident which could happen in any family. That's terribly rude and non-supportive of her in a time like that to right away go with blame.

Poor Tommy, on top of loosing million$ and loosing his son, now he is going to have to pay $100 to fill up his truck.

I hope FX stops spoiling the new episodes with their preveiws.

No kidding - it's like they are taking hints from NBC's promo department.

I would say the shock of all of it kinda snapped her out of the medicated "fake happy" effect she had been experiencing. If all of the negative feelings she had about Tommy before suddenly came rushing back all at once, i could definitely see her lashing out at him. Even in the previews for next week, she says something like "you could save a little girl from a burning building but you couldn't save OUR son".
