I have been renting season 1 of farscape.

As far as I know, season 1 ended with John and rastaguy hanging in space.

Then I put in season 2 disc 1 and its some kind of chessgame with everyone happy on moia.

Just a quick check if I should keep watching or I somehow missed an episode?

The first scene should be Rygel, Chiana, and Pilot panicking. No chess scene on my disc.

The first episode of season 2 is called "Mind the Baby"
as long as that is the episode you are watching, you are fine.

there is a small jump forward in time between the last episode of season 1 and the first episode of season 2......this happens often inbetween Farscape episodes. Anyway, that gap will be filled in a later episode called "Dream a Little Dream" (I think it's episode 8 or so of season 2). "Dream a Little Dream" was originally intended to be the first episode of season 2, but it was decided it was not a strong enough or interesting enough episode to start the season off, so they moved it to later in the season and re-tooled it to be a flashback episode.

When I rented Season 1 of Farscape from Netflix, the DVD's didn't follow the episode order. Disc one had Episodes 1 and 3, Disc two had 2 and 4, etc...

they are in the correct order on the discs......those numbers you are referring to are the order in which they aired, which was not the order they were meant to be seen in.......

nothing big either way, but there are small inconsistencies if you watch them in original air order.
