I was thinking about buying the Mutant X season 1 set but is the show as a whole any good?

It was fun to watch on syndication during slow weekends, but I've never had the urge to actually follow the show or rewatch any episodes.

I'm a pretty big comic book geek and will watch anything superhero related. I lasted a season with this show and had enough.

Season 1 is pretty good, I enjoyed it. Season 2 went downhill very fast and I gave up before the halfway mark.

I watched a few episodes from Season 1 and other than the eye candy (for both sexes) there wasn't anything very compelling about it.
