The Inside 6/22/05

Still giving the show a chance.
Spoiler:
The VCU team tries to stay a step ahead of a cunning vigilante who is targeting would-be killers.

I'm only watching because it's in HD, and nothing else I'm interested in is on at this time slot.

The lead actress just isn't that good, though (acting-wise).

This episode was a good improvement; now we know there's some sun in Los Angeles.

Though I don't understand how they could let Roger go, didn't he order child porn online? That alone could have put him in federal prison for up to 15 years.

Even if it was child porn, there may be 4th Amendment issues with federal agents getting into your house to protect you and then expanding the scope of their presence to go through your attic trunk. Beyond that, he could pretty easily claim it was planted, as the agents mentioned.

I got the idea it wasn't supposed to be child porn but was instead the closest you could legally get to child porn obviously marketed to disgusting sicko perverts. It was apparently sent in the mail like any magazine is, and you'd have to think any child porn magazine sent openly like that would be shut down with much prejudice about three days after the first issue came out.

I'm still giving this show a chance too, but after 3 weeks I think it might be time to call this one DOA. It's so "blah".

it was nice to see the Bones preview commercial.
Its good to have Angel back on Tv.

It certainly pales in comparison to the last three shows Tim Minear was involved in, but the show turned a corner for me last night. I'm looking forward to seeing how episode four works for me.

That's my biggest gripe with the show. I don't much care for the lead and I don't think I'll be watching anymore.

I agree I only watch it cuz it's in HD, but the stories are really bad. Last nights show was not that bad, but still not good.

I agree completely...I keep thinking "Gee, all these characters are interesting EXCEPT the star of the show!"

Hmm, interesting points. Guess I missed those.

As for the main character, Rachel, I admit her personality is kind of flat, but it does seems more realistic and professional though not necessarily what viewers are used to.

Also, I read that on July 6, FOX will air two new episodes. Two possible reasons are: 1)Test different time slots 2) Just use up the episodes quickly as possible. I think it's a little of both.
