Anybody watching this? I didn't watch last season, but thought (and heard) it seemed interesting. Just started watching the premiere (there are 2 new hours tonight), and it's pretty cool so far.

So far just like last year. One of them gets removed from the island because of getting hurt.

So what, that person's "opposite" gets an automatic trip to the final 7?

It's too bad it couldn't have been Tiy-e couldn't have sliced his finger open . I'm guessing this is part of the show's schtick, to get people that are just annoying beyond belief?

Angie was, IMO, the best eye-candy on the show .

Last season one of the big fat Skippers had to quit because he couldn't handle running more than 5 ft at a time.

This season, it appears we lose someone a bit more interesting, but it just started here.

First impressions:

Nice that the millionaires are about equal in wealth. Last season it was one set with around 100 million and the other around 4 million. If I had 100 million, I would laugh at someone with 4. And they did.

Both Mary Anns are FAR less attractive than the 1st season's.

Angie is far better looking that Erika, while Erika seems nicer but she still looks like a man. Last season Rachel was busty model hot and Nicole was young, thin blonde hot. Something for everyone.

The black professor seems like someone who should have been on that Penn and Teller episode about College. He's not really a professor as much as an arrogant, annoying sex addict.

Neither millionaire team is remotely as good, interesting or appealing as the one who ended up winning last season.

i watched a little bit of this because erika eleniak (spelling?) was on it by the way what was she doing on it.. she's way too good for that show... horrible show. will never watch another episode of that survivor rip off ever again in my life.

It was pretty awful. The first time around it seemed like it was just "lite" tv fun, but my main complaints were millionaires paying people off and too much like Survivor.

TBS made it seem like season 2 was coming right after season 1 and, instead, waited a long time. They had a chance to tweak the show and it doesn't seem like they did.

In fact, it seems like they went searching for stranger people to play up all the drama. But it's just not good at all. Boring and stupid. No one and nothing to even root for.

That loser Gilligan who is pining for the Mary Ann who likes the professor who said nothing is going to happen because he has a girlfriend but still doesn't mind stringing the complete moron girl along and hurting that insane, stalker Gilligan...ugh.

These people are cast-offs from Jerry Springer. Both Mary Anns are ugly. One is rude, the other is so completely dumb it's scary.

The best Ginger is gone in a day from an "accident" that required surgery, but I've never seen someone look that good in a message filmed from a hospital bed. Erika is just gross looking.

The black professor? Can he even really be a professor? Are they just giving those jobs away to people? How does he handle his students? He nearly drowned and the host had to dive in and save him. And he's still hooting and hollering after that...pathetic.

2 hours was way too long. There was no structure, it's as if anyone can get a reality show on TBS. People from this forum could probably get a show much better than this on TBS.

This made Outback Jack look like an Emmy award worthy show.

haha well said man.. and what was with that drowning thing... sorry to be insensitive but i think that was setup.. that was the strangest thing ever.. he just all of a sudden starts to not be able to swim although he started fine and then the way the host was swimming and acting it all out... what the hell was that.

that is seriously the worst show i've seen in a while... it was promoted on every damn channel as if it was the next best thing.. garbage.

do they re-run episodes? wanted to watch this

Agree with everything dolphinboy said. I would have liked to see Angie get further along. Black professor was picked because he's so annoying. Crazy skipper is just full of it. Blah blah blah chicken bone. 2 Mary Ann's are kind of fugly. Poor casting.
