I don't like any of these people. Jessica was immature. Michael is a creep. Ralph is such a kiss-ass, laughing hysterically at the smallest quips by Ramsey. And Ramsey's the world's biggest asshole.

Still, the show is fun to watch!

I hate Ralph. He's fucked up numerous times and other people always get heat for it. I've really liked this show. The only problem I have with it is that it's been pretty obvious that it was going to come down to Michael and Ralph for a long time now. I think the executive chef was the only other one that could've handled a restaurant of his own and Ramsey always hated him for some reason. At the same time, I don't really want just qualified people on the show because that takes away a lot of the entertainment.

Ratings have been ok. Saw them in Entertainment Weekly.

Big two-hour finale coming up Monday. It should be great.

Mrs. Pusser and I have enjoyed this show. I'll have to venture back and read this thread when I'm not tired. I really should get into the TV Forum more often.

i like the setup for the finale. most other reality shows, the final thing is just an incremental bigger version of normal weekly task. but designing own restaurant and being able to run the kitchen after always just being a grunt worker feels like a big step up

Ramsay hates *all* "executive chefs" - you should catch Kitchen Nightmares or Boiling Point sometime.

Looking forward to it!

Ramsay was on Jay Leno last week -- he was hilarious! He looked quite relaxed, and was jokingly getting all on Jay's case for being so messy. He was trying to show Jay how to make pasta, and flour ended up being tossed at each other's faces.

I am really going to miss this show. I only started watching it two weeks ago when I had a marathon, but I have become addicted to it (and Rock Star:INXS).

I can't find anymore of Ramsay's shows. Does anyone know if they are on BBC Canada?

Dewberry reminds me of Cleveland from Family Guy.

This was on page 4. Maybe the question will be answered on page 5, but if not, I need closure!

I don't understand, they didn't give out a restuarant?

That's what they've been advertising.

Someone please explain that to me.

I had the same question. I figured the winner would have gotten the restaurant and Ramsey would have been nice and offered the loser what he offered the winner.

He gave Michael the choice. Either to own his own restuarant now, or go to London to 'train' with Ramsay. Michael chose to give up the restuarant and go to London. In the long run that is probably a much better idea, and will only make starting up his own place in the future an even greater success.

But Flash.........

I think the thing was a set up......

They gave him a choice: Own your own restaurant and follow your dream OR work for me and I'll yell at you....

It was fixed. How is going with Ramsey a prize. It doesn't make sense. I think it had something to do with how impractical it is to give someone a restaurant....where....what condition....staffed....furnished...etc

The guy is the #1 chef in London. I would have given up the restaurant for a chance to learn from the number one guy.

(too bad, though. I wanted Ralph to win and was hoping that Ramsay would given the "consolation" restaurant prize to him)

Hopefully he won't ignore Mikey and be busy all the time with his TV shows.

If there was a restaurant...why didn't they show it?

Why give up a restaurant - if that's your dream? THat voice over that said: "I couldn't let him get away" was very conveniant.

Hopefully Chef Ramsay will help Michael obtain financing when he's ready to open a restaurant.

It takes a lot of money and charisma can't hurt.
