I've watched this show from the beginning and have enjoyed most of the episodes but I don't see this show lasting much past a third season. Already the math part of it has taken a backseat and that was supposed to be the draw of this show. If there was less emphasis on the math side of things, I think this could be a much better show. IMO the math part of the show has only enhanced a few episodes (the tower episode is one that comes to mind right now) while hindering most of them.

I like this show very much. I have always been a big Rob Morrow fan. The new guy isn't that bad adds a different dynamic to the show. I wanna see Lou Diamond come back again .

Well since new guy isn't in the opening credits, does that put him first in line for dramatic deaths that will shake the regular cast up?

He's still on the show Not dead yet.

I kind of thought that about the new guy too.
What I didn't like at all, was the addition of Diane Farr, or at least how they did it. There was no backstory to her addition. She just shows up one day. Didn't like that at all.

Weird Sound Problems on Numb3rs.
Is it just my local station or does anybody else notice that when this show returns from commercial break that the sound is extremly low? Then over about a 10 second period it will slowly comes back up to full volume.
This happens every single week and only on this particular show.
Just currious as it is very annoying.

I find this show unwatchable. The cast is ok, but the math hook is contrived and stupid and I can't get past that enough to watch what otherwise might be a decent show.
The only episode I've managed to last through entirely was the one where they tackled game theory, and that was only because I sat there in amazment by how wrong they got it.

I think this show is great, too. I don't get the love for Sabrina Lloyd though? She was kind of cute, but her character was worthless, in my opinion. I personally think the show is much better this year with the new cast. Plus they seem to be doing a better job of developing the characters this season.

The love for Sabrina isn't based on what they did with her on this show, where her character was wasted. We all know what amazing work she can do with a well written one, like Natalie from Sports Night. It's too bad they didn't give her anything to do on Numbers.
