This show had potential and ABC should just give it time. Please don't cancel the show.

I thought EYES was a good enjoyable show, but I'm not surprised that it probably won't make it.

Last week, I was playing cards with some people and they all started talking about how much they liked LOST... I asked if any of them were watching EYES, and none of them even knew what it was --because they all DVRed LOST and forwrded thru the promos.

(Just for the hell of it.)

for fans of the show, this isn't necessarily bad news, because it doesn't make sense to burn off brand new episodes during the heaviest competition for the next 4 months.

things would look promising if they put it back on schedule after the tv season is over, 3 weeks from now.

but you never know with ABC

True...but they're still the best at it.

This show was handled a lot like "Karen Sisco," which I also enjoyed. I thought "Alias" and "KS" would have been a killer powerhouse combo with the right advertising. And I think Eyes should have been promoted better as well. My wife did NOT want to watch the show based on the promos. It really came across as cheesy and lame...bad one-liners and everything. The only reason we gave it a chance was because Entertainment Weekly said the pilot was worth checking out. And since most people love "reality TV," regardless of the content, "Wife Swap" and "Supernanny" are easier to swallow.

Oh man, don't remind me!!

I loved that show that season (along with Keen Eddie) and they totally killed it.

That's when I knew ABC was full of bull. THey actually blatantly lied to the public when they sent out a press release from the ABC Pres. saying they were taking if off the air for 3 months so they could retool and relaunch the show because it was getting killed by one of the Law and Order shows, and that they were such fans of the show they wanted to give it the best chance possible to succeed. Of course spring came and it never aired, and I waited all summer to hear it was not being renewed. I think the whole 10 episode order got shown on USA, luckily. Total crap, ABC.

Totally.

Great. Now I am pissed at Keen Eddie being cancelled again.

Best new show of the season. Better than Lost. Better than DH. I knew it was in trouble the moment they put it in that timeslot. Little chance against L&O and CSI-NY and Alias is not a good lead-in, ratings wise. Put the new network darling Grey's Anatomy there and would be doing the same ratings.

They should have at least given Eyes a shot in Blind Justice's slot or flipped it with Alias to see if they could have gotten bigger numbers than Alias in the post-Lost slot.
