I've voted equally for Bo and Constantine from the beginning. From the feeling on the official "AI" board, there is a nice rapport between their respective fans, and I think quite a few will support Bo now. He is talented and has his own brand of charisma.

I was actually rooting for Scott in the beginning. I liked the underdog appeal he had early on and was happy to see him move on to later rounds. But at some point he changed. To me he started coming off as arrogant and cocky. He just seems like a jerk. Maybe you disagree that he's a jerk, maybe you feel it doesn't matter, that's up to you. But from what I've seen of him, I think he's a jerk. Maybe he's a wonderful human being off camera, but frankly this show is all about what we see on camera. Heck, maybe William Hung sings beautifully when there are no audio recording devices nearby as well.
You asked, what does his attitude/etc. have to do with singing ability? Absolutely nothing. To some that may be the sole factor in deciding a winner. Some, on the other hand, think it should be a combination of factors. Singing, showmanship, personality or character, among others. I think Scott lacks the last three, and in my opinion he's even one of the lesser remaining singers vocally.

I will grudgingly agree that Scott has gotten a little cocky/arrogant. However, I think some of his comments have been said tongue-in-cheek and were misinterpreted. As an example - last week when he said that the other contestants wouldn't be able to keep up with him on dance night. That was just good-natured smack talk like any of us would do with our friends if we were playing b-ball in the driveway or something.
Some people seem to think he views himself as king of the world. I see him as a guy who had a semi-rough upbringing (see: non-support from dad in beginning) that finally has a reason to be confident. Maybe I'm reading too much into it... but I think he was probably less confident and maybe even shy/backwards growing up. He's found his spot and he's gaining confidence.
Anyway, my previous comments were more directed to the people that have judged him based on looks, appearance and the way he talks. I agree that at this point the way you are perceived probably has as much to do with people voting as your singing ability.
He's a good singer but even I won't put him in the top 3 of Carrie, Bo and Vonzell.
Which brings us to....
BO! Oh no! Kick him out now! He smoked pot! The shock, the horra!

Sounds to me like he probably thought it was cooler to pretend that his real name was Bogart.

In regards to the vote-altering (with the Constantine sitchy), doesn't the votes get tallied by Price Waterhouse (I think that's the name)? Someone told me their an independent company handling the votes, and they pride themselves on accuracy, honest, and the whole enchilada.
I'd like a confirmation on this, if possible, because just knowing that the votes could be altered at will leaves me with a sour tummy.

Hey, if I was wanted to be rock star and was named Harold, I'd go by a different name, too.
I'm really going to miss the Velveeta Fog. Unlike Scott or Fed, it was kind of fun watching what he was going to do next. He might be irritating, but at least he isn't dull.
I'm still sort of shocked by his departure; seemed like he had some pretty solid support out there. As far as Fox somehow "fixing" the show, I doubt it. Even though they're FOX, they still have to be smart enough to know that fixing a comp. like this would land them in serious shit if they were caught.

I was surprised Vonzell was in the bottom 3 instead of Scott, and that Constantine got the boot. But I think the reason Constantine got the boot is probably because his fans probably thought he's safe so not enough people call in to vote.

Your opinion only oh honorable Mr. VP.
I couldn't care less about his antics, but I enjoyed his voice and song selectiopn up until that last mess that got him booted. (Partridge Family?! Loved it!) And I'm a big fan of RENT and could see him doing a good job of that as well. I can't stand country so I don't take Carrie seriously, and Anwar sent chills down my back when he sang What a Wonderful World.Heck..some people like thrash metal and I don't think it takes any talent.
Different strokes... Sad ta see him go.

Let's avoid using the term "wigger". Thanks.

I liked his personality and I like that song, but I could barely stand to sit through that. It was AWFUL. Scott and that blond kid both deserve to go and SOON, but I had no quarrel with Constantine getting booted. That may have been the single worst performance in weeks.

and he was probably the owner of 4 or 5 of the worst performances, since the cut to 12..
which is why some of us were surprised... because he has sucked so bad in the past, and still skated through.

Someone would have to crack the story.
So, it might (or more than likely) be just wishful thinking on the part of Constantine fans, since there was no source for the matter. But you'd think if that were to occur, they should bring back Anwar (keep in mind that I say this as an Anwar fan), since that site started it's recognition the week before Anwar left. (Not to mention that his performance of "September" was blocked out in some of the west-coast network affiliates. However, it wasn't mentioned on the show the next night. Probably too much of a big deal to take on, since they figured he wasn't going to win anyway.)
So, yeah...there's that. Chew on it, spit it out, do what you will with that info. And don't shoot the messenger. It's just an interesting package I wanted to relay to you guys.
Btw, there are some quality posts on the AI boards, but having to sift through all the posts from the overly-emotional teenies can leave one dazed and confused!

I don't think the obvious needs to be pointed out that there's no way in hell that Constantine's coming back.
What good would it do? The website's still around and people can STILL vote for Scott or Federov all they want. What would they possibly accomplish besides possibly killing the show once and for all by making it obvious that they want a certain person to win?

I personally think it's wishful thinking on the part of his fans (one of which I'm not, although he wasn't bad and did bring an exciting change to break up the monotony of most of the performances).
But, hey, you've got to throw that fastball out there and see if anyone can hit it. Maybe this is true (however not likely it is), and maybe it isn't.

Constantine showed up on "Ellen" today. I guess he's still in Idol-mode because he sang a solid rendition of "My Funny Valentine".

. I think she'll find a niche somewhere to be successful in the music biz.
