This is the third or fourth time that Uchenna & Joyce has one a leg and hasn't gotten any type of prize.

The biggest upside of the race so far is Meredith & Gretchen beating Rob & Amber and Ron & Kelly in a leg of the race.

What's Kelly going to do if they finish last in a non-elim?! No clothes or makeup? Ugh.

...and a nice price at that! How stupid, Uchenna and Joyce are really getting the shaft for running a better race than anyone.

they should've known that they would be last and put on more clothes. Obviously it was between Romber and them so Kelly should've noticed that Rob finished the climbing task before Ron which meant that they were in last place.

No kidding - and Ron saw them anyways from the tower.

not to mention if they were standing at the mat, they could have taken their clothes out of the bag right then and put them on.

I think Rob was only asking about direct flights.

The others got an earlier flight but it had a layover--and still arrived earlier.

Correctomundo!!! We have a winner, that is exactly what I thought also.
This is the only explanation I could come up with also that they asked if there were any other earlier flights to Istanbul, not are they any flights that go elsewhere and THEN go to Istanbul.

I am farily certain he specifically asked about flights going to other cities first. He was still told there were no other flights arriving earlier.

to the weakest episode of the season. Completely linear, no bunch-ups, no conflicts, nothing.

Anybody else actually record this, I was watching this while recording Scrubs/The Office. From what I recall he only asked if there were any earlier flights and nothing about connections. That does seem odd that Rob would not ask that but I of course could be wrong. I would agree that overall not a good episode, especially with the constant OMG whining from Gretchen.

How easy will it be to beg for money in a 5star hotel filled with europeans?

They can't. Phil said they have to start the next leg of the race with no money. They will have to beg for money after they receive the clue.

no bunch ups? They all bunched up in the beginning when they had to go to New Dehli.

No conflicts? There seemed to be a decent amount of conflict between Ron & Kelly.

Interesting episode. Although the non-elimination was a little predictable. I think they need to mix up the placement of the non-elimination pitstop so it's less predictable.

Good to see another team stripped with all their belongings. I wonder how long they can last without their stuff. The old couples is still racing strong even loosing all their stuff several pit-stops ago.

Pharoh, you are on a roll , beating me to the punch to answer stuff. Phil definitely states that since it would be easy to get money at the hotel. What I would wonder is how far away the hotel is from that pit stop. I would just try to make an arrangement with someone and say hey I will meet you back here at this time and can you give me some money then.

Also, why they did not try and do a layering of clothes before they got on the mat since they KNEW they were last was beyond me. I will say they did have on a decent amount but I am sure they had a warmer jacket in their bags they could have put on. Seeing the review from last week at the beginning of the show, Team gay at least threw on 2 extra pieces of clothing(at least on top, could not tell about pants or shorts since it was only a shot of them being eliminated) before they got to the pit stop.

Wow, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that it was Rob messing with Gretchen and Meridith that cost them the two hours. If Rob hadn't asked "Did you get on the earlier flight, the other two couples would probably not have looked for one." This time Rob's joking around backfired bigtime.

I'm pretty sure that after Rob asked about direct flights, the next thing he asked was if there were any that were faster if they connected thru another city and the woman just shook her head 'no' at them. Of course she already looked pretty annoyed at Rob so maybe she didn't care.

How stupid that Ron and Kelly knew they were last, but made no effort to compensate themselves in case of it being a non-elimination leg.
