I think you guys are taking Scott's comments a little too seriously. I think it was meant to be more tongue in cheek.

I have to agree. He actually performed better than Bo this week. However, I wouldn't go that far and called him a favorite just yet.

He's outperformed Bo a few weeks in a row now. IMO Bo has believed too much in the hype he got the first few weeks. A week in the bottom 3 is just what he needs.

I have to wait a few hours til the show gets aired over here, but I've gotten the impression that Consty is gaining momentum over Bo. Something that I never thought could be possible ever since he did "Hard to handle" weeks and weeks ago.

I haven't really been a carrie fan up until now but I thought she sounded great tonight.

Consentine (as much as I can't stand him) sounded good as well.

I do have a question about Consentine and American Idol rules...

i thought the cut-off age this year was 27??if so and BR(queen)came out in 1975 that would make Consentine 29-30?

am i right?

They revised the age limit this year to 29.

Bo was just eh. He seems to be phoning it in lately.

I thought Constantine was the best of the night. Sure, he's no Freddie Mercury, but then who is? He was by far the most electric of the night.

Carrie wasn't bad. The song wasn't great, but man she looked hot in those blue jeans and with her hair straightened.

I didn't think Scott was that bad. I kind of agreed with Randy. It started very shaky, but he pulled it off in the end.

Nadia. What the hell are you thinking? You do best when you choose songs that have zip to them. Terrible song choice, and that could be her doom this week.

Anwar. Still boring as hell IMO.

Trachi. A little less lounge lizard this week, but he's still a lounge lizard performer.

Vonzell. Pretty good performance. She's improving each week.

When they wheeled out those old guys ("Oat and Meal" or whatever they called themselves), I was like "Who the hell are these geezers...Starsky and Hutch?"

I guess I'm the only one that thought Nadia's song was OK (not great, but not as bad as everyone else said).

I thought Bo sucked hard...I'd get rid of him if it weren't for that cocky egotist Scott. Every low not was flat. Bye Scott.

Carrie - not great, but I like her trying something daring, not safe like most of the others. I like her scratchy yelling voice. Sexy! And was she wearing a bra? She was quite jiggly tonight - not that I'm complaining or anything....

Vonzell - vocally OK, but I thought the song choice stunk - it felt like I was back in 1984.

Anwar - OK, but still slow and OK.

Constantine surprisingly did OK - I was expecting a trainwreck, but he pulled it off.

I hate to say it, but I think Nadia is gone. She's already flirted with the bottom 3 a couple times and her song choice was terrible. She did OK, but OK won't cut it tonight I don't think. Gotta hand it to Anthony... he actually did pretty decent, albeit with a somewhat crappy song.

I still don't get all the hate for Scott. What's up with you people?!?! The freaking artist(s) that did the original song gave him a thumbs up and seemed very enthusiastic about his performance. I don't think you can get a better judgement than that.

Vonzell was the best of the night, followed closely by Constantine. Bo seemed like he was sleepwalking through his song.

Hall and Oates aren't exactly going to slam someone on live TV either. If they did, they'd look like jerks.

Don't tell me that you actually expected Hall and Oates to tell Scott and America that he sucked? Of course not, they are going to tell him that he was good, no matter what.

Edit - SleepyW beat me to it.

True, but they could have given him a Randy Jackson "it was alright" without overly gushing. Then it would have been apparent (that they didn't like it). But they were applauding and "grooving" throughout the song.

It took big cajones for Scott to sing that song in front of the original artist. You gotta give him credit for that.

Well then pass the love to Trach-boy, he sang a song they wrote, but someone else recorded.

Just an observation, from the way Paula was acting tonight, she's the kind of girl you look for in a club... pick her up and she'll give you everything she's got!

She bother's me.

Next week "England Dan and John Ford Coley" Week!

Let's throw Anwar Bo and Underwood in the bottom 3 and then say goodbye to Anwar. He bores me to tears and I think he holds a note at the end of every song just to wake people up.

erm....I believe that was the point. A song from the year you were born. I guess she did a good job then!

I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE Vonzell and believe she is the most talented and most down to earth.

Constantine gives me the major creeps.
