Still, I can't help but feel let down. I think the outlandishness, not to mention the feel that the writers are making stuff up as they go, is what is keeping 24 from being the truly great show it should be.
One of the things I always admired about Joss Whedon's work on "Buffy" and "Angel" was that both shows felt as if they were planned out two or three years in advance. You had confidence there was a plan, and it was a good one.
"24" is missing that, and it frustrates the hell out of me.
