"Nightingale"

Spoiler:
Sydney and Vaughn risk their lives and careers searching for the truth about Vaughn's presumably deceased father. Meanwhile, it's unclear why Jack and Sloane seem to be conspiring with each other and against Sydney and Vaughn, and Jack faces a potentially deadly choice that will forever change his life.

Hopefully, the upward trend they've been on lately will continue.

I'm not sure how many episodes they have already filmed, but maybe now that the show has been confirmed for renewal next season they will start taking some risks like they used to.

I'm still having a hard time getting into this season. One of the things I read at the beginning of the season was that Abrams wanted to get back to the 'double life' for Sydney, like how she had her spy life she kept from her real life friends. It seemed for a second that they would do that with this new black ops organization... except they brought EVERYONE from her life into it!!! At least last week's Marshall ep brought this aspect back for a moment, at least concerning Marshall's home life. Do we even know what her 'cover' is now? I mean, she had to have SOME other friends, or at least acquaintances, from her old life besides Will, Francie, and the dead fiance.

Sorry about the rant, just had to get that off my chest.

I'm actually a little surprised it was renewed. . .but I get this terrible feeling that Nadia will be the featured player next season, with perhaps some guest appearances by Sydney. If so, I'm out of there.

What on earth are SpyDaddy and Sloane up to? The ending was a bit sad and I wonder how the writers will resolve that one. On the up side, it looks like we finally have our story arc for the rest of the season.

BTW, that had to be the longest 60 seconds (even with Marshall's intervention) in spy drama history.

What's Vaughn doing working with Omar(The Wire reference) I was hoping he'd tell Vaughn when he was walking out of the library "You come at the king, you best not miss."

Great episode. Good to see the show finally pick up. Looking forward to she what Jack and Sloane are working on.

If they get rid of Jack Bristow I will forever be gone from this show, mark my words, even if in a future episode Jennifer Garner does a special episode where she has to run around naked and save the world i wouldn't watch........

Uh what am I stupid, of course I would.

Seiously though Jack is my fav character, please don't kill him off.

Great freaking episode though!!

this week's episode was good. this season is getting better and better as it goes on.

also, maybe I'm seeing things but at the end of the episode where they show the preview for next week's episode I thought I saw Katya Derevko and someone who looked like Lauren. anyone else see this?

The time between 30 seconds and 20 seconds seemed like a frickin' hour.

Spoiler:
I don't know how people feel about previews so I'm putting this in a spoiler space just to be on the safe side. I clearly saw Isabella Rossellini in the preview and though I didn't notice Lauren, I have heard rumblings that she is coming back this season. Though I've also heard that Lena Olin is returning as well but I'll believe that when I see her face on the screen.
