I was hoping Stephanie would be voted off. Those freaky-ass eyebrows are scaring me!!!

I really hope that there isn't a merge because Bobby Jon and Steph have more of a fighting chance without it. With only 2 people, they don't have the numbers to try to split up Koror. Plus it's just more interesting since nobody knows how it will work without the merge.

I don't agree. Usually when they merge, the numbers are pretty close on each tribe. This makes the majority vote for the minority. But it never fails that they begin to vote off their own before completely voting out the other tribe. If there was a merge now, the numbers are so big on the Koror side that they have no threat so they can rid themselves of some of their dead weight. I also think that the couple would immediately talk to Steph and BJ and try to get Coby and someone else to join. The writing is on the wall as to the chain of command at Koror. Anyone other than Ian and Tom would be smart to jump on the opportunity to knock them out.

So if there isn't going to be a merge this year...

1) How will they handle the next loss to Ulong? With only two people, you can't do a vote.

2) Once Ulong is gone, will Koror then have individual immunity challenges, or will they be split into two tribes? If the show was never going to have a tribal merge, then it sounds like they weren't planning on having individual immunity at any point in the show, unless one tribe was completely eliminated, which I doubt they were counting on. (At least not this quickly.)

1) I think its one of two options. They either have individual competition if they lose immunity challenge again. Or they have Koror vote the one person off Ulong.

2) They had to assume that one tribe would be eliminated at some point. I think it will just continue on with individual immunity challenges.

BJ & Steph will be seperated and will pick new teams by splitting up he other tribe.

That would be awesome. Although I think the same situation would arise because whichever of them got Tom on their side would be more unstoppable than Koror is now. Tom doesn't have that #2 punch that either could provide. Ian is good but both BJ and Steph put his head out.

Karor does have a deep bench...

BTW, has any tribe in Survivor history more expertly set thier individual members up to suceede than Karor?

The most dominate players Tom and Ian sit out BOTH challenges and Gregg sits out one, all to let the other players feel part of a team.

Thats the beauty of Tom/Ian...they completly run the tribe, yet make EVERYONE feel that there part of the team.

Yeah and I bet that if they saw the other teams canoe tip over in the water, they would stop to make sure everyone was a ok!

I think they are smarter than that. Tom would know that there were cameramen and other personel there to help. In the "real world" he would help in a second, he's a fireman. It sounds like you're carrying some baggage from AR. There is help out there for you though. ;)

Unless Alex, Lynn, and the entire CBS staff were there already...

Well, assuming there is no merging soon,
Spoiler:
it looks like Ulong loses again this coming week, because the week after that, the episode is titled "I Will Not Give Up"

Did anyone catch the Early Show on Friday in which Ib said the puzzle challenge took an hour and a half? Now I forgive Janu for wiping her eyes, and I think they said it was salt water besides.

Dude, if Stephanie is unattractive to you because of her eyebrows, then you really have some peculiar tastes. I mean, let's put aside the woman has a fantastic body, is intelligent, quick-thinking, a good leader and oh yeah, did I mention her body? But no man, her eyebrows....

Heh. To each his own, I guess. :)

Her eyebrows freak the crap out of me too. Actually, she's a buttaface to me

what they could do is to let them all merge, but give immunity to Steph & BJ to give them a fair chance to mix with the others without being the obvious targets and the first 2 to go home.

well, that defeats the whole purpose of winning immunity challenges and keeping your tribe's numbers larger than the other tribe. If I was Karor, I would have thrown a few of these immunity challenges to get rid of some dead weight. For Ian and Tom, it would be easier to manage a smaller group of people than the number they have now as Ian and/or Tom are probably the biggest targets once/if immunity because individual.
