Good episode

I liked the scenes with Sloan and Chief Weber:lol:

Addison seems like she is just hanging around until her spinoff

Giantrobo 04-20-07 06:12 AM

It would be cool if Callie beat up Izzie and O'Malley. I don't care about their fuckin' friendship and their accidental fuck. He's a married man and has to put his wife/marriage first whether he likes it or not. I know he was trying to do that but obviously he's weak when it comes to Izzie. So they both need to stay away from each other and out of each other's lives. Maaaaybe later down the Izzie can be slowly reintroduced into the mix once the marriage gets over the 7 year itch. I realize you guys hate Big Fat Ass Callie because she's not a "Meredith" or an "Izzie" type girl but she doesn't deserve to be shit on by O'malley and Izzie.

Or are they buidling up to to a divorce and another Izzie/O'Malley hook up?

Which is a shame since she is one of the few likable characters on this show. Man, was Meredith a b-tch tonight or what?

I don't know if it's because the producers are distracted by the pending spinoff or because they're trying to stall until the season finale, but this felt like major filler. The show is almost boring at times.

Grey's Anatomy - "Desire" - 4/26/07

"Desire"
Spoiler:
As the interns of Seattle Grace cram for their upcoming exam, the attendings vie for the Chief's position by tending to the chairperson of the hospital board after he is admitted as a patient. Meanwhile, Burke struggles to involve Cristina in the wedding planning, things heat up between Addison and Alex, and Derek questions his relationship with Meredith.

Doughboy 04-27-07 08:05 AM

I guess next week is the big spinoff episode. And the rumors about T.R. Knight(George) leaving look like they could be true.

boogieman03 04-27-07 08:53 AM

So Georgie's leaving the show?

Karev you lucky bastard.

Jadzia 04-27-07 09:32 AM

I loved how the pregnant woman was all like "This place is like a soap opera!"

I wish they would keep Addison on the show, I want to see more tension between her and Karev/McSteamy.

JediMindTricks 04-27-07 09:34 AM

as the quality of this show has really taken a downturn since the first season, i really wish addison stays. she's pretty much the sole reason for me watching this show now.

Giantrobo 04-27-07 09:42 AM

Wow, everyone got their feelings hurt this ep.

Patman 04-27-07 09:47 AM

Was Burke in an apron this episode? They've emasculated his character quite a bit during the wedding planning stages.

This show does feel like it's coasting.

No kidding. She's one of the few likable characters left.

They screwed up George with his current storyline.

Burke would ordinarily be likable except for the fact that he's played by a bigot.

They're doing their best to ruin Derek by making him so indisicive with regards to his personal life. Then again, dumping a whiny hag like Meredith would make him look better IMO.

I never liked Christina.

Izzie was ruined by the Denny storyline and her current situation with George isn't helping.

Callie's always been a moody beotch.

Sloane's always been a prick.

That pretty much leaves Karev, and he was a real dick last night to Addison, so he loses points there.

Hell, even "Jane Doe" was mean last week, although her outburst was understandable. And she was somewhat apologetic this week. They just need to fix her chiclets cuz her smile is creeping me out.

tofu 04-27-07 03:54 PM

If I were Derek, I'd probably be questioning the relationship with Meredith too since I still don't understand why she didn't swim.

And I don't understand why Karev wouldn't be happy to have slept with Addison and have the possiblity to end up with her.

and with good reason....

magiccmom 04-28-07 09:12 AM

I think the reason Karev was so mean to Addison is because he isnt ready to committ. He just found out she wanted someone to bbq and throw the baseball around. Dont think he is ready for that, so he hurt her feelings so she wouldnt want him anymore.

Superman07 04-28-07 07:35 PM

I'm not the biggest Callie fan, but George is really pissing me off lately. "I demand to know!" Excuse me what? Wish she sent him home. Then Meredith caves and tells him where she is. :(

Surprised nobody mentioned the Nazi/McDreamy conversation with her saying "You stay with the one you love. You don't get to make that descion." Curious if there we'll see any of the current couples together by the end of the year. Hopefully they will though, because I cannot take another "bar crawl" by Meredith with her bringing guys home.

MrX 04-29-07 11:30 AM

I liked the episode, though I'm not looking forward to more Meredith relationship Drama.

The soap line from Ava was great:lol:

clckworang 04-29-07 04:56 PM

I'm just not too sure about what to think of the direction this show is going in. Things just seem so ... weird. The wedding planning by Burke just doesn't feel natural for his character, and I'm not saying that just because he's a man and they don't typically get so involved. It just feels false for his character. The results of the Karev/Addison coupling felt really awkward. I really don't care about the Grey/McSteamy thing.

And that leads us to the spin-off. Is George really leaving? Will Knight be doing double duty, he does have a very prominent place on Grey's after all? It just feels so contrived how they're getting people over to the other show, but I guess that's because it is pretty contrived. I'm holding out a small bit of hope for the spin-off, though, because Addison is probably my favorite character.

Grey's Anatomy - "The Other Side of This Life" (Parts 1&2) - 5/03/07

"The Other Side of This Life"
Spoiler:
Addison takes temporary leave from Seattle Grace and makes a road trip to Los Angeles in order to visit some old friends from medical school. As Meredith continues to bond with her stepmother, Susan, Cristina reluctantly plans her wedding with the assistance of her mother, Helen, and Burke's mother, Mama Jane. Meanwhile, Derek must perform emergency surgery on Ava/Jane Doe, as Alex continues his unfailing bedside manner with her.

A reminder tonight is the 2 episodes setting up the Addison spinoff

JediMindTricks 05-03-07 08:40 PM

well we see what the addison spinoff is gonna be like. i was wondering at first why it's 2 hours.

doesn't look too interesting so far. and that's a shame because addison was my favorite character.

Patman 05-03-07 08:42 PM

The Addison spin-off just feels dour.

Dour along the return of such ABC favorites as Tim "this new show will be canceled after approximately 7 1/2 episodes" Daly, Julian "I should have had my own Alias spin-off" Sark, Francie "My character was cloned in an incredible JUMP THE SHARK moment as only JJ Abrams can do it" somebody, Taye "Rent" Diggs, and "Judging" Amy Brenneman.

Did I miss anyone? And yes, I know that Judging Amy wasn't on ABC.

RichC2 05-03-07 08:56 PM

Taye "Daybreak" Diggs

Patman 05-03-07 09:00 PM

There's the surrogate who was on Joan of Arcadia, and Nina from Everwood.

Oh, and Pizz from Veronica Mars as the boy toy receptionist/surferdude.

Ah, there you go. Almost seems like ABC is making up for lost episodes by giving them a spot on this new spin-off.

Tim Daly and Taye Diggs ... the kiss of death for a series.

Spinoff looks LAME-O
