Cool. Sounds like a standalone episode.
|
Looking forward to tonight!
|
Steve Holt!
|
Star Wars kid!

Another hilarious episode! David Cross acting as a maid was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while, especially considering that every one of his songs ended with "in the most delicious way!"
|
Anyone notice Maeby's sign?
VOLT FOR HOLT! |
Great episode! That was the ditech.com guy in the boadroom, right? (Those commercials are so freakin' annoying)
Loved hearing the organ version of "The Final Countdown." And Buster's reaction when George Michael says "you cut off my hand" on the video. |
Fantastic episode tonight. Definitely one of the funnier episodes of the entire series for me.
Loved it. |
"Looks like we underestimated the religous vote."
|
Was this episode supposed to air a while ago and held back? No mention at all of the movie being filmed about the Bluths...
|
-Do you think Steve Holt will crush George Michael?
-It's like comparing an apple and some fruit you've never heard of... |
After the laughlessness that was tonight's Simpsons, this one brought teh funny.
|
I think Buster getting a hook for a hand has been the greatest thing they've ever done. The line "I don't see why you're surprised, mother. I'm HALF MACHINE!" was priceless.
|
I no more Dust Buster.
|
"He's a bastard."

I think the movie bit is done. The hook was there, it fit.
|
Anyone else notice the director's voice was also Ron Howard (when Tobias locks himself in the bathroom)?
|
I thought it was pretty good.
"Steve Holt is a bastard!" Having Gob turn out to be his father after that was a great touch. |
I feel like this season has been a bit sub-par compared to lasts...
I really didn't laugh much until the end of the episode..oh well..looking forward to next weeks! |
So it turns out that Maeby has had a crush on her cousin the whole time. Brilliant show.

"Your uncle doesn't not work here anymore." "Mrs. Fingerbottom from Blackstool" Buster caught with the robot rotfl rotfl rotfl |
"Where did you make that video? In a cave!?"
The first five minutes of this episode had me laughing more than all of last week's episode. This may be the single best episode of the series thus far. I loved it when Tobias' nose fell off. Also: "Why aren't you in school?" "Marry me! Haha...oh, I forgot who I was talking to." And you had to love it when Lucille caught Buster with the Roomba, its lights flashed green. Edit: After the episode ended, I got a call from my mother, who wanted to know if I had just watched Arrested Development. Apparently she never watches it, but caught this episode and could not stop laughing, and just had to call to tell me to see it. |
Did anyone catch the really quick shot of the Wrench graphic? It looked like they had Rob Corddry from The Daily Show as Wrench.
|
Supr: That's nice that you and your mom can bond over such fine humor as Mrs. Fingerbottom from Blackstool
My favorite was the Dust Buster, mainly because I didn't get it until I saw the look on Lupe's face with Lindsay said, "Fine, I'll Dust Buster myself!" I would rather have seen Buster's Star Wars tape than George Michael's. He was just getting warmed up! |
Another great episode. As for it feeling "out of place". You have to rememeber that there is always a large amount of stories that are left open to have a joke or two about it in the next episode or two ahead.
|
How cool is this? The guy that GOB hired to attend the board meeting was a college professor of mine 11 years ago. He even got his real name used during the episode (Ron Michaelson)
He's also the Ditech.com guy (Lost another loan to Ditech!) |
Great episode. I watched it a second time and got about 10 more jokes. I have got to get this series on DVD.

Oh man, too many funny things tonight:
The campaign chant for Steve Holt: Four More Years! GOBs terrorist shouts during the rally "I've made a terrible mistake." Continually cutting to GM's Star Wars fight The return of the "SLUT" shirt George Senior's Christian conversion with the same music from when he became a Jew. Tobias's massive breasts (coupled with the fact he fooled no one as Fingerbottom from Blackstool.) I'm loving this season! I'm so disappointed this will most likely be cancelled soon. When you are advertising shit like "Life on a Stick" and then cutting back to the brilliance that is "Arrested Development," it really drives home how out of place the show is on Fox. |

Come on people, life on a stick has a girl in lingerie operating some sort of pumping device. I'll gladly sacrifice Arrested Development for 30 minutes of that each week.

Gob has actually been hinting that he had a child (children?) since season 1.
|
I like how Michael would give a half-hearted GEORGE-MICHAEL shout a few times, instead of the full STEVE HOLT shout
Great episode! |
That was a great episode. I can't wait to watch it again. That Star Wars kid video was so perfect. Also, David Cross' character was hilarious. Good stuff!
