Shouldn't GOB's show have been "Illusions in the office"?

yeah, Chew, you're right. I remember that, too.

Breaking! Gail Berman Quits Fox For Paramount THR and Variety are reporting that Fox entertainment head Gail Berman has dumped Rupert Murdoch’s slice of television heaven for a movie job (“the top creative post”) underneath Brad Grey at the New Paramount™. Whoa, didn’t see this one coming. Berman’s ditching Fox in the middle of pilot season, and God only knows what’s going to happen to Arrested Development now. Well, God and anyone whose first thought is that it’s probably toast. And what happens to Paramount bigshot Donald DeLine? Is he toast as well? And will he be toasting himself or get toasted by Grey? Too many toast questions make our head hurt, so see the trade paper coverage for the fun, factual portion of the story, including info on Berman’s possible successors and the liberal use of the terms “ankle” and “prexy.” She made a huge mistake. The biggest supporter of AD at fox is now moving on... This does not bold well for the future of AD come next season. FUCK! |
And so it begins...
|
Well that sucks.
|
So now can we start puching Jack in the arm and saying I told you so?
|
After I heard Gob yell "Shut up, you terrorist!" it became clear that AD would be cancelled. I just don't think there are enough people in the TV watching public who recognize this type of comedy as the genius it is.

Hey, I wasn't expecting this one. Surprise comes out of nowhere! It's not dead in the water, but if she was still there it would have been pretty much safe. Now... it depends on which way fox wants to go. :( |

It's unclear at the moment whether Berman will remain with FOX through pilot season and the May unveiling of the network's 2005-06 schedule or join Paramount immediately. The network has about 30 pilots in development for next season. If not, someone new will want results fast to show they are doing a good job. Results and AD don't go hand in hand and that will be that.. :( |
This show probably has a great chance to move to another network, I can easily see it on FX, Comedy Central or HBO. It has a loyal audince that cable networks would covet.
JAG, Buffy, Taxi, all had quasi-successful transplants... |
Did anyone notice a quick frame of Mister Banana Grabber when they flashed a bunch of images on the campaign tape after GOB asked, "what else don't we know about Steve Holt?"
|
Does anyone know how many episodes this season will have?
|
18 episodes this season.

I loved GOB telling michael that he had found a way to make money while he was working.
When they busted out the star wars kid moves I lost it |
I had some credit at iTunes because of the Pepsi caps and I just had to download The Final Countdown. It cracks me up every time I hear it.
