I am still annoyed that everything so far has been a physical challenge except making the bathroom (which was lame in its own way since it was never explained why Koror won IMO).

If you are serious about cutting Tom out you have to wait and let him be the first one voted off after the merge. Although I hope all Tom assassination attempts are unsuccessful because it would be nice to see someone win who actually deserved it again. Last one was Ethan.
Oh and Ibrahim sucks... I'm beginning to think he doesn't really know HOW to swim as he's tanked in every swimming challenge so far. Damn steroid queen... |
Ibrahem proved the point once again that just because you have big muscles doesn't mean your in "good shape". He looked really scared in the water and couldn't even hold his breath.
More cardio and less pumping! |
I thought the Tribal Council last night was excellent. It was great to see 2 votes where people couldn't consult with each other before the vote. For once you didn't really know how the vote was going to go. It was reminiscent of Season 1 in the early votes when lots of people would get votes. Now it's usually just 2 people, with one of those being the token vote from the person getting voted off.
I love all the physical challenges this season. It's making it hard so that the strong players are still in the game for the most part. Angie didn't deserve to go though, based on how she's done in the challenges. I wouldn't mind seeing one tribe get completely eliminated. Don't mix it up. That would actually be the unexpected scenario. I'm curious as to why a few people don't like Tom? He's competent, strong, excels in the challenges, not vulgar or classless, confident without being arrogant. I like Ian, but he was popping off too much for his own good in front of both tribes last night. |

The problem with Ibrehem isn't that he's weak like Osten....he's just a weak swimmer, pure and simple. Also, as someone who works out and knows ppl who juices, I don't think that Ibrehem juices. It looks like he has good genetics, plain and simple. I mean he's big, but he's not HUGE. It looks like he just does a lot of work in the weight room and that should be applauded, not looked down upon. The thing with Tom is that he's a firefighter...those guys go through more crap than anyone, save for maybe those in the military. They have that second and third wind that makes them go above and beyond what a normal person could do. |

I'll say it. Black people on Survivor have always sucked at swimming. |
Line of the night: Coby's "PUKE PUKE PUKE!"
|
wasn't that line actually from The Amazing Race? ... or am I the one who has it mixed up?

And lets get it straight people. James was by far the weakest member and that is a fact. He's also a big morale killer with his very abrasive personality. Has there been a single challenge he's done well in besides last night? His big talk seems to be fooling people both on his tribe and watching at home.

No and neither are Lynn and Alex on TAR. ;) |
Ibrehem did not loose the challenge due to his poor swimming skills, it was because he kept tryign to untie the bottles instead of just pulling on it.

I include 'breath-holding' as a general layperson swimming skill. |
Also, as someone who works out and knows ppl who juices, I don't think that Ibrehem juices. It looks like he has good genetics, plain and simple. I mean he's big, but he's not HUGE. It looks like he just does a lot of work in the weight room and that should be applauded, not looked down upon.
I agree completely I don't think he's on steroids but he doesn't look like he has much endurance. As someone who works out also I think cardio is as important if not more so than just getting big |

I could never do a swimming challenge. I can swim, but not well underwater. I've never been able to hold my eyes open at all because of the burning......and i never learned to hold my breath properly and water always finds itself going up my nose.

Oh, are you thinking of the ONE challenge where the teams had to be matched guy-to-guy and girl-to-girl (the shoving-match challenge)? That hasn't been the case in ANY of the other challenges, from what I remember. So what does it matter to Koror if Ulong keeps/votes off a guy or a girl? It won't affect who Koror has to sit out at challenges. |
Thats why I said "might". Plus ONE more challenge might be all it takes. It only took Ruperts tribe one loss to start its free fall.
Though even if that didnt happen I'd still take angie. She's outdone James in most of the challenges. |
