Survivor 3/16/05
Don't forget, this week's episode is on tonight at 7 central.
|
Ooh, thanks for the reminder. NCAA Tourney starts tomorrow, which bumps it back a night.
|
Thanks,i had forgotten all about it being moved to Wednesday.

In the new teaser that aired over the weekend, Jeff says

http://wwwimage.cbs.com/primetime/su...rvivor_nav.jpg Low morale for one tribe sinks even lower when they abandon their camp in search of a cave for shelter from a storm...and get lost. One castaway neglects fire duty and dozes off, and a tribemate becomes bitter having to lose valuable sleep to pick up the slack. One tribe is taunted and tormented as they have to sit and watch the other tribe enjoy a great reward right in front of them. Both tribes face several twists that they never could have expected that throw them off their game. Both tribes face several unexpected twists that throw them off their game. Almost forgot this was on tonight!!! I missed it last year when it fell on St. Patrick's Day & Wednesday. Only episode I've ever missed. |
Much better version. The players are sorted by team (top & bottom).

God I hope Caryn goes home tonight. I truely cannot stand that biotch. She the only person on the show I have a general dislike for. Then again her tribe hasnt really had a chance to show their true colors yeat cuz they've never had to face tribal council. But I still hate everything about Caryn.
EDIT** Also thanx to Norm for the thread. I had forgotten too. Glad its on tonight since Lost is not. |
Is it me or is Willard's head shaped like a monkey's with its extreme taper.
Also, someone just called Ian Flipper during the reward challenge  |
"tonight, there's going to be a party in my mouth." LOL

what the hell!! they're totally just messing with Ulong now. it's kicking a guy when he's down and already out. I'm not necessarily an Ulong fan, but what they just did at immunity...that's wicked man!
|
:hscratch: Now who do we vote off :whofart: ???
|
that was definitely a twist if I've ever seen one.
Spoiler:
|
This has been the most F'd tribal council ever on the show.
I don't understand the vote for immunity that was given to the person who got it. That's the last person I'd want to have immunity from a physical standpoint. |
Jeff said no merge...I've gotta believe they almost HAVE to merge before any other challenges though, don't they? 8 on 4? Sure, 4 would sit out, but seems a bit odd...
|
Wow. Why no love for Bobby John? I'm assuming those votes were just because he was strongest. I'd have liked to see James go...
|
Goddamn, that was just fucking brutal.
What's the reward for next week? Does Koror get to give the remaining Ulongs bukkake? Was that reward/immunity designed with the idea that Ulong would win, and be able to protect Willard from being booted from Koror? (Willard is the obvious weak link on that tribe.) Sorry to see Angie go... Seems like kind of dumb to vote off one of the few players who's actually good in the challenges. Hell, last week, James blew both of the challenges. Angie was also one of the few people out there I could stand. |
I totally agree with Josh. That tribal council was brutal.
|
This season has been great. I can't wait to see what happens next week to screw over Ulong.
Spoiler:
|
Every time they show James talking, I can't help but think of Freakshow from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. He looks and sounds just like him .

I was more than a little turned off by the forced tribal council. Stupid - right up there with the Pearl Islands rejects stunt. However, I was very glad to see that there were enough brains at Koror to give Ibrehem immunity after his speech. It made the evening interesting.
Don't forget that next week is a Wednesday episode, too. |
The fact that "on the fly" this tribe couldn't realize that James was the weakest player shows again why, as teams go, this is the most inept tribe in
Survivor history. The two people in the tie-breaker should still be in the game. Stephanie continues to be strong in every aspect...if she can somehow make it to the merge and find herself in an alliance that gets her to the final 4, she might be the best female on the show ever. She's in a big hole, though, so it doesn't seem likely she'll get to show her stuff for much longer. |
At least the person responsible for blotting out Angie's nipples will get a rest.

I thought I was the only one that was seeing Freakshow when he was on the screen. |
I haven't watch Survivor for the past few seasons but tonight while in the hotel, I caught tonight's episode. Wow, that tribal council was fucking brutal. Talk about screwing up the game plan and having to make adjustment right away without any counselling.

Sick episode. Poor Angie was bamboozled. Tough way to get booted. I thought Koror should've given immunity to James and let Ulong vote Ibe off. Stephenie is surely an all star worthy survivorette already. Looks like she might be next one voted off though. :( I'll slap the taste out of Greg's mouth if he tries to boot my boy Tom. Blaspheming li'l bitch. He should be shot for just suggesting it. It's obviously the right move for anyone not in alliance with him, but the timing is wrong. If you are serious about cutting Tom out you have to wait and let him be the first one voted off after the merge. Although I hope all Tom assassination attempts are unsuccessful because it would be nice to see someone win who actually deserved it again. Last one was Ethan. |

This season is just brutal. I feel so bad for Ulong, I just want to Euthanise the rest of them. Springing the immunity vote on them was just cruel. Please, Jeff mix up the tribes or something. I can't watch this ass-kicking anymore. |

I guess they didnt realize that by keeping Angie around they might for the other tribe to have to play one of their girls(whose ass Angie would dominate) instead of forcing Jimbob to compete against either Ethan or Kobe(who will dominate him).
Also Kobe is really alot more likeable than I was expecting. From the first ep I got the impression he was gonna be the dick who goes around ripping on everyone behind their back. Plus it was a smart move not to make waves trying to save Willard. |
That was just WRONG. They should have handed out vaseline after that tribal council. Stephanie deserves to win it all. She has been rocking on all the challenges.
|
I thought the episode bordered on downright unfair. Why take away the one strategic device that every losing team has had in the past? I think the bestowing of immunity was too much. They have to change teams or merge this coming week, or this might quickly become unwatchable.
As for the immunity vote for Ibrehem, I found it brilliant on two counts. First, it will bring dissension even more into Ulong's camp, while it also simply weakens them immediately. They may have been stronger keeping Angie instead of James, but they also would have been stronger keeping Angie over Ibrehem, because the reality is that Ibrehem, while physically strong, has shown nothing, no heart and determination. They are now weaker and they will bicker and fight more. Secondly, if there is to soon be a merge or shuffling, it gives those who voted for Ibrehem another ally. He will have no loyalty to those who wanted to get rid of him, but likely would to those who saved him. A great tactical calculation. I was also very happy to hear Greg talking with Coby. Very smart forward thinking, something I wonder if Tom is capable of. However, I too was sorry to see Angie go. She did not deserve too. |
I also think it was a sweet move giving Ibraham immunity.
Just wondering--haven't we seen a swimming, um, problem, like this in many of the seasons? Regardless, he didn't deserve to go just because he blew it once. Otherwise James would've/should've been long gone for getting pushed off twice by a hairdresser... |

Okay, so else was expecting Williard to say "No. 'V' is for Victory" at some point?

I may be the only one, but I can not stand Tom, and I was really hoping they would give him the boot last night, they had the numbers but I guess they felt the time was not right. They could still win w/o him as they have to sit 4 people out at challenges now. I hope they merge or redraw teams soon, as I really like the Uulong tribe and I only see 2 people on the other.
|
At first i was wondering WTF for Koror giving immunity to Ibrehem, but after thinking about it i realize that it was actually a smart move because it makes Ulong keep their weakest player.Ibrehem is just like Osten,he is all bowed up but when it comes to challenges,he is no more useful than Kim was.
