I did it for Spongebob, and if you answer "yes" to "Are you gay?" you get some very directed questions right away (Are you a cook? Do you live underwater? etc.) If you guess "no" you can still get to Spongebob, but it takes forever. I can't remember the exact numbers, but the first way (yes to teh gay) I was the 900th person or so and the second way, the 97th or so. The votes are in about Spongebob, and apparently most people think he is indeed gay.

Well, it guessed both Oscar the Grouch and the Swedish Chef.

It guessed that I was Dennis Finch from Just Shoot Me! I suppose that would be ok. He gets paid a lot to do nothing, and hooks up with some pretty attractive women.

Nevermind, that does sound kind of like me.

Cool new spin on the game! I'm Marshall Flinkman from Alias!

I don't watch Alias, but I read up on the character and there are some similarities except that I'm not afraid of flying.

Forgot to ask, does this one let you be dictators too? The original one I used to play was "Guess the TV Sitcom Character or Dictator". It had some pretty obscure dictators in there

Since it's user-driven, it can be ANYTHING you want. You can play "Guess the Columbian Drug Lord" if you want.

But to specifically answer your question: yes, you can use dictators -- hence the name of the web page ("Guess the Dictator and/or Television Sit-Com Character") or the actual HTML name ("dictator.html")

I decided to play as myself...

'I guess that you are Jonathan Young from Carlsbad NM! Am I right?'

My knowledge of either tv characters or dictators must be lacking....

Wow I never thought I could be insulted by a website script. I played as myself and it guessed I was Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World

Not a sitcom, but since there are plenty of dramas in the mix now, I was able to stump the system with Matthew Sikes from Alien Nation...it thought I was Bubba Skinner from In The Heat Of The Night.

Also stumped it with #6 from The Prisoner...it thought I was Col Hastings from Poirot.

It did guess Uhura from Star Trek correctly...so I was impressed with that.

Interesting. I tried it as myself and it guessed me as Bo Brady from "Days of Our Lives". I'm flattered.

I win again! You are player number 124 to have chosen Chandler Bing from Friends. I knew you were Chandler Bing from Friends from the start, but I strung you along for a while to make it seem more sporting. I hope that one day you will overcome the powerful sense of humiliation that you now feel. Until then, good luck.
Oh well... I'll try it again.

This time I'll try Bull on Night Court.

Edit: Crap!...

Edit: This is weird! I tried it with Marni from Committed:

Edit: Finally won with Bowie from "Committed"!

I answered the questions based on me and it thought I was:

I guess that you are Tim Lang from The Fathers Day Show! Am I right?

Who's that?
