The POW and the Beauty Queen are as dumb as rocks. She has nice cleavage though.
I found it interesting how Rob was trying to help out all the weaker teams, so he can knock off the better ones. Smart guy.

At least for now, for those who thought Team Survivor was not going to be instigators and proactive in using allies to play off the other teams, well, Team Survivor was calling most of the shots, and got inside the heads of the teams they were not "aligned" with at this stage of the race.
I loved it when Rob bribed the bus driver to not open the back door, and kept his team's $5 and used the other teams' contribution to the bribe. Classic!
Rob also was one step ahead for the correct bus, but there was too much time for the other teams to suss that out, but at least Rob's thinking ahead.
And then Rob's way of stacking the books using his construction background was genius as other teams had to use their handcarts twice to get the job done.
Amber...well, she's cute and nice to look at, and shines a mean shoe!

Am I the only one that would fucking stuff that fish full of rocks to get it over the weight limit?

I wasn't watching closely when Rob and Amber were gathering the books. How did he end up fitting all of them on the cart? Rob and Amber are easily my favorites to win this race. I think Rob is extremely good at games like this, and Amber is cute and fun to look at.

I was sure it was a tattoo.

Amber looks better when she's natural, that pic doesn't do her justice.
Rob is definately very good, but I don't think Amber will be someone that just gets carried by her partner. I think she'll prove to be pretty tough and her attitude about letting Rob make decisions, rather than arguing, is just another advantage their team will have. She doesn't stress over things a lot of the others will and that will help.
I hope they win and if luck didn't play such a big part, like when they end up at a train station, bus station or airport basically even, when one team had a big lead, I think they'd run away with it. But if they make the top 3 that will be an incredible feat after the win on Survivor.

Well, I wasn't pulling for Rob/Amber before, but I sure am now. He's got every little trick down pat to give them time advantages and it's fun to watch.
Two legs in a row where last place was decided by a footrace to the finish line.

Team Survivor would have won the first leg of the race last week if it weren't for the bad luck in the cab ride to the pit stop. So, they will be a force to be reckoned with this season, like it or not (I'm going to have fun watching them, I was totally LOL at Rob's gamesmanship because he's playing the game at a higher level).

Rob and Amber ran the best leg of any season of the Amazing Race. Great stuff.
I agree with SunMonkey that this will change the way the race is run. Contestants need to be more cutthroat! Remember just two seasons ago when they introduced "The Yield" and nobody would use it because it wasn't "Honorable"?

OK, Team Oldsters has got to go. I can't stand listening to Gretchen prattle on endlessly with her oh so annoying voice. She's one of those people who feels the need to give a complete play by play of everything she's doing. Plus, she's got a real mean streak that peeks through when she's futiley trying to shaft the other teams.

It was hilarious watching some of those people "shine" the shoes. I think it was Gretchen who was turning light brown socks into black from shining all over the place.
I knew I'd be rooting for Rob and Amber when this thing began, but I didn't expect them to come out swinging like this. I love it. If they can keep this up, this could be the best season yet.

He also spoke some decent Spanish when he bribed the bus driver.
Anybody that underestimated Rob's abilities will be regreting now that they are seeing the show. Who was that guy last week that said Rob was dumb as a rock? (I'm too lazy to re-read last week's thread)

I can't stand Rob for many reasons but I admit that he's a very very crafty guy.
