This may be the most same-sex kissing that's ever played on primetime television.

As always, I enjoyed it. The Simpsons can (nearly) never do wrong by me. Lot of funny little things in this one like the printing of the collar that someone else mentioned. And the "queerly beloved" line was great! Homer kissing himself was a little freaky though.

I had low expectations so I was pleasantly surprised. Possibly best episode of the season, laughed out loud several times.
Wonder why no incorporation of Smithers...but I guess that would be too obvious.

Hooray for this episode! Great satire!
I think there was no Smithers because it simply would have been too big of a story to have both his story and Patty's. Remember, too, this was an episode about gay marriage, not actually about being gay. I think this is different, because Smithers obviously wants to be with Burns. Not only is Burns not gay, it's not like gay people find out marriage is legal and suddenly want to get married. There's the whole relationship part long before tying the knot - you know... like the same process straight people go through?
