I guess I'm the only enjoying S2 quite a lot. Not as great as S1, sure, but close. I still like Seth quite a bit. He's annoying sure, but he never quite got over Summer, not hard to see why. It's been rough for him, and he knows there is a connection. So of course it's aggravating, but it's understandable.

Ryan has become more likeable this season to me. I easily like him as much as, if not more than Seth.

The storylines, are certainly being stretched, they were last season too. Maybe not as much, but the whole Oliver thing was so overdone, it really should've never happened.

I don't like the lesbian story, only Alex works for me, and this story, makes me think less of her. Marissa is just not likeable. Sandy is being such a douche, and he seems a bit out of character.

Bottom line for me is if the show is still enjoyable, and it is. As long as it keeps at the level it's at, I'll be happy. With the all the storylines going on, I don't expect to like them all.

Marissa is the "real" teen on the show, so a growth is not out of the question.

I thought women we're done 'growing' by the time they we're 17-18?

Wrong! Women can still "grow" after this, some more noticeable than others. I've known a few girls who have "grown" after starting college.

Yup. Plus, Mischa Barton(Marissa) just turned 19 last month. The reason it feels like she's been around the block is because she's been around since 1999 in her most widely known role in "The Sixth Sense". I also remember her on "Fastlane" a couple of years ago (when she was 17), playing a spoiled teenager.

I think the key to making this show like season 1 is getting Seth a girlfriend. The great thing about this show is the comedy and Seth was the source of that. But with him all depressed there is no comedy. So i think they should either get him back with Summer or bring back Anna.

I think Anna should just be brought back anyway.

It's highly doubtful Anna's coming back. Samir Armstrong has moved on.
