I'm shocked at the posts from people "leary" of JMS taking on Trek. I think it would be fantastic. The "powers that be" (current Trek) have stunk it up to high heaven for years. Heres to JMS getting his shot. (I think a lot are scared he will succeed)

JMS does have a big head, I'll give you that (and he probably would too). But he has quite a lot to prove he can do excellent work. While I agree some acting on B5 was wooden (and even bad), the overall story was extremely well laid out and some of the speeches (especially by G'Kar) can make me cry they are so powerful. I would love to see his take on Trek.

So much for JMS version of Trek. personally I think his chances were slim at best since Paramount and B&B wouldn't give him the time of day much less allow him to touch and alter the Trek franchise.
