Arrested Development -- "Ready Aim Marry Me" -- 02.13.2005

Ready Aim Marry Me

Spoiler:
The Bluths suspect that Lucille 2 (Liza Minnelli) is making a deal to sell the Bluth Co., so George Sr. suggests asking Uncle Jack (Martin Short) for help.

Portia looks great in that photo. Lucky Ellen!

I am not a big fan of the guest star, but if anything can make me enjoy him, it'll be this show.

I happen to think the guest star is HILARIOUS, and I think he'll fit in perfectly with the show.

I'm counting the minutes

That was the most outrageous, most insane "Arrested" ever!

The part with Lindsay and Gob each doing a chicken impression was hilarious.

"I prematurely blew my wad on a dry run and now I have this mess on my hands..." Tobias rules.

Might have been my favorite episode of the season so far; although the Christmas Party one ("Afternoon Delight") was just as good.

I think this show has officially taken over as my favorite comedy.

The dual chicken dance w/ Lindsay and Gob was hilarious.

Tobias w/ all the gay sexual puns was awesome.

the first 5 or so minutes before the first commercial break was hysterical. I was laughing out loud at so much stuff. Then it just got too absurd for me. The uncle character was too stupid to be funny. It was still a good episode, but some of it was just too dumb.

That, my friend, is what we call "Martin Short Syndrome."

I like short normally but that character was just annoying. The rest of the show was great as usual though.

No dumber than the rest of the characters. I thought he fit right in. I thought it was hilarious that he thought his muscle man had him while he was sitting on the railing.

The dual chicken dance. Classic!

Tobias ruled the entire episode. Stole every scene.

I was waiting for to Gob sprain his ankle again during the chicken dance like he did during the flashback a few weeks ago. They could do a half hour of him just doing that and I'd watch it.

I didn't think Martin Short was that bad, I liked when he said nuts and the guy carring him put his face in Michael's crotch

"Chi-cha chi-cha chi-cha!"
"What is that? Is that a chicken?"
"What's this?"
"Michael is scared to ask out Sally."
"Oh, this is priceless...Caw-ca-caw caw-ca-caw caw-ca-caw!"

So many great lines in tonight's episode. Not just Tobias.

"Sorry, your grandmother just had a little acident in here."
"Oh. Does that mean she's gonna have to come live with us?"
"No. No it was just her drink. And even if it wasn't."

"Well that is quite a basket you've got there Michael."

Tobias

I hope Short doesn't show up too often, one episode is enough for now. It was sorta funny the first time, but I can't see it getting any better if he comes back.

I had a good time, but it was a bit too broad. Nice nod to A Clockwork Orange with the Martin Short character.

I find that Martin Short generally takes away from any show he appears on. I love AR, but I really dislike him a lot.

Loved the dueling dances though.

Already mentioned several times but Lindsay and GOB doing the chicken dances was absolutely hilarious. I rewinded the scene like three times. Just can't get enough of it.

Portia looks hot.
