Joan of Arcadia 2/11/05

Wasn't too crazy about this episode as Joan takes such a big step backwards, and the way Adam acts so uncharacteristically to prey on Joan's insecurities was just odd.

Looks like Will has dodged a bullet with Lucy getting a promotion to the Justice Dept.

Kevin's date with Lilly ends with her walking out on their dinner as it was apparent to her that she was pretty much the rebound date, though Kevin is still hung up on Beth.

It's almost like god came down to all of a sudden end the lawsuit (a few weeks ago) and now get rid of Lucy. A little odd to have these huge problems for months and have them go away just like that.

to being a Constance Zimmer episode. Not much else to get excited about.

Perhaps this ep was a good example of why Amber's upset?

I think the Lucy/Will thing was resolved too quickly. Unless there's still unfinished business?

I've almost given up on this show, despite absolutely loving everyone in the cast.

I really liked Season 1, but this year, week in and week out, character act uncharacteristically, seemingly only to provide fodder for the plot at hand. And the really serious story arcs are resolved almost as if they are afterthoughts and the writers got bored.

Is it just me, or did Will a week or two ago suggest to Kevin that Andy move in with them? Where the hell is he?
