I thought Jack's "She's Sweet" line (or "she's nice"...can't remember exactly what he said) about Tony's girlfriend was the best line of the night...but "I'm currently unemployed" was a close second.

Edgar is my new favorite character...I hope they don't kill him off and bring him back as a regular in future seasons.

In case there was any doubt before tonight, this is the BEST of the four seasons by far...and that's saying a lot! Once again, another tense and exciting ending!

poor Tony His yard was such a mess. Was hoping he'd re-issue the "careful. dog crap" warning on he way out of the house too, but all the neighbors had this beautiful green grass and here he is with a beat up yard. And a girlfriend who talks too much on the telephone.

Bummer Michelle left Tony. Tony only risked the lives of millions of people for her one life and lost his job and went to prison for it.

But hey, welcome back Tony!

Another good episode last night.

I wasn't surprised when they took Sarah away but was taken aback a little bit of how brutal their interrogation was. But then again, they thought she was the mole...

I don't think Marianne is dead, she looked that she was knocked unconcious when the car exploded and hit her head on the car. Her interrogation scene should be interesting especially if Curtis is involved.

Edgar rocks!

Yeah, that oughtta do it.

Why didn't the sniper take Jack and/or Tony out when he had the chance? Besides the fact that the script didn't call for it, I mean.

Great episode. Tony's return just kicks ass. I hope they try to work in some of the other characters from past seasons.

Here's my attempt at logic on this situation.

SniperGuy probably has only one shot before the element of surprise is given up. After the first shot the remaining two will duck and cover (which they did). So, with one shot who is the best person to take out? Jack, Tony, or TerrorDude. While it would be nice to take out Jack, or Tony, that leaves the other and TerrorDude alive. TerrorDude is the only one that has info on the TerrorPlot. TerrorDude must be taken out first to avoid an interrogation by the remaining hero.

(To Tony A) "What does your ex-wife do?"
(Tony A) "She's Director of Division" (I think that is what he said)
Actually, I think he said she's Deputy Director of Division. So it's Deputy Director of Division Dessler.

My favorite line of the night was when Jack tells Tony he really needs some CIA-style decryption software for the photos. Tony pauses and says, "I have some around here somewhere, let me dig it up."

I'd let her "interrogate" the real mole. After she's "thanked" Edgar for saving her ass, of course.

I was thinking damn, CTU agents pirate work software and take it home. I think we need a PSA about that now.

"Hi. I'm sexy megastar Kiefer Sutherland from the hit show Entertainment Weekly raves is "loud" and "sometimes darkly lit". While 24 is just a TV show, the threat of terrorism is real, and when you take home a copy of Lotus 1-2-3 from work without paying for it, the terrorists win. As you watch tonight's presentation, please remember to give a hoot and not pollute."

Only if they find WMDs. Then they all get half day.

I think the Parents Television Council is behind it all.

As mentioned in this week's Entertainment Weekly, FOX is responding to pressure from the Council on American-Islam Relations (CAIR). Also in the article are TONS of potential spoilers about the real "bad guy"....
Spoiler:
including that the family is actually a red-herring/pawn/etc

As a federal worker myself, I will tell you that she is entitled to no more than 4 hours of administrative leave off the end of the day... since this is 24, she only has to work until hour 20 PLUS 20 minutes time she spent doing no work being tazered.

Why not have 2+ snipers on the roof with simultaneous shots?
