Geez, that bit of speculation is funny in light of what happened (which was already in the rumor pipeline given Kim Delaney's guest appearance arc this season).
Loved the reference to "Summer Lovers" an old Peter Gallagher film, and also Summer's "Cavalier and Gay".
Overall, the comic book stuff was cool with me, a comic fan, especially the way Seth's feelings for Summer just oozed out of those character sketches of Summer as a super-heroine. The characters names were pretty funny as well. Kid Chino.
We are really heading towards Marissa's first big gay experiment with Alex, who continues to look amazing on this show. Marissa was almost funny in dissing Caleb, but the bad acting by Mischa just never quite elevates the material.

I really liked this ep. The Summer/Seth scenes were very reminiscent of Season One. I pretty much enjoyed the entire comic book storyline.

I caught the "Summer Lovers" reference, but had to go on IMDb after the show was over to make sure that was indeed the name of the movie. I too liked the comic book storyline.

Good episode. It's obvious that the whole Seth/Summer thing is gonna come right back. It's too bad cause I kinda like the Zach character and you know he's gonna leave ala Luke.

They seem to enjoy referencing movies that featured the show's cast members. Besides Summer Lovers, I think they've also mentioned The Sixth Sense and The Ring. Now all we need are Spawn and Love Potion No. 9 which featured Marissa's mom and dad respectively.

I must admit that I watch this show now just to wait and see Alex and Marissa ravage each other in a fury of lesbian love.
Alex just might be the hottest chick on TV right now.

Marissa's mom and Seth's mom were in the same episode back in the early days of CSI.

I totally forgot about Kim Delaney. Had I remembered, it would have been extremely easy to predict.
Loved Seth's line about Caleb asking his mother if he was mildly retarded.
