Certainly thought this was one of the better ones this season and I was really hoping for a cliffhanger the way they were going.
In order to appeal to the masses, they have to take out the stuff that made this show so much fun in the first place.

The Feb 23 episode should start what appears to be at least a two-parter, for those looking forward to such a thing. Also, in the scene where Jack tells Sloane the Russians are looking for a Derevko, he clearly says Elena. Maybe this has something to do with the niece in the picture Nadia has (which there clearly is more to).

So maybe the Sentinel is Irina's sister, Elena, and Jack confirmed the Russkies are looking for her when they asked for the Irina's books and Alexei was content w/ just the one.

This was much better than that X-Files episode in my opinion and MUCH better than last week's "Ice" which was kind of a yawner by comparison. However, like the saying goes "Even a bad ALIAS is better than most any other drama on TV".

Stupid President. Does anyone with a TV NOT know the state of the union? We're at war, we're running an exorbitant, record-setting deficit and Iraq is no more secure/safe than it was a year ago... but the people still alive there WILL HAVE ELECTIONS! Woopie! There done. Okay, can you show a new episode next week now?!?!?

Who's Elena? The niece? Syd's sister? Another sister of Irena/Katya's?

Why do they still show the same buildings they did in S3 when establishing a scene is in LA? Is APO the floor right under S3 CIA headquarters? They should be showing a subway station enterence.

I thought this episode was excellent, one of the best I would have to say...Some spoilers that I got from some insiders, I dont know how acurate they are but they have always been pretty accurate:

Suspended; also need updated email
Weiss really wants to get some doesn't he!
I liked this episode but they need to build up some story arcs as well.
Still the potential is there for an Irena return

Meh. I don't think Irina will return, at least not in person in light of the salary negotiation problems they were having with her. Or, maybe they'll bring in someone else and use the "she had plastic surgery" or some such angle.
Either way, I thought this was a pretty good ep, but irritating ending, I was actually looking forward to the end dangling, but they wrapped it up nice and pretty. Needs more multiple-episode arcs.
