Hmm, so nobody knows if they're filming in Cornell U?
If they are, dammit why couldn't they film when I was still maticulating there. It would've been my chance to see Katie Holmes live and in person.

This show is definitely on its last legs. I think I only watch it because I've watched it for the past couple years and can't pull myself away from not watching it.
I liked it much better when Pacey and Joey were together. I wish somebody would hurry up and pop Dawson's cherry already (it'll probably be Joey at or near the end of the series finale) so he can move on with his teen angst....
I dunno, I think it was a bad move to move this show from Capeside to Boston. Sure, they all had to grow up eventually, but it's weird to see them without each other (i.e., Pacey has like one scene each week with either Jen or Joey...although it looks like the gang will be all back together for
).
As much as I think the show sucks now, I'll continue to watch it because I'm a big dork.

I'm also watching DC because i've watched it from the beginning. I think it went off its tracks back in the 2nd season, but I think this season has been pretty good so far, up until what happened at the end of the episode last night. I'm hoping that the writers didn't put that in just solidify Dawson's return home.

I actually think that it'll make Dawson stay at USC. Sort of like, to "fulfill his dad's wishes" type thing...although yeah, how're they gonna run the show like that...

Joey and Dawson were dancing at the prom and Pacey got into a jealous rage and made a scene.

Edit: I was disappointed with this season at first. But I think we just have to get used to it. I think the show still has life left. I've missed parts of most of the episodes this season though, gotta download those soon. I would be watching Enterprise, but I don't have UPN, so I've been downloading episodes.

I hate to admit it, but I want the show to. And for the same reasons as others have said, because I watched it from the beginning.
By the way, there should more scenes of Joey running
But as for the story line. I really interested in the new characters that they bring in. I kind of like Joey's roommate.

If they wanted to kill off the character, just have a driver fall asleep at the wheel and ram into him, giving Mitch credit for having any sort of common sense whatsoever. Or have a drunk driver hit him. Or have the brakes fail. Or have a deer run out onto the road. Or have an icy patch of road make the car lose control...or...well, you get my point. There are a million other ways to have killed him off (even in the car accident format if they were so attached to it) that wouldn't have been nearly so contrived and ridiculous.
Besides that, I'm more pleased with the show than I expected to be. I'm glad they're introducing new people, and I'm tired of the Pacey/Joey thing. I was rooting for them in the beginning, but Pacey just makes me mad now - I hated his behavior after they had sex. So while I was rooting for them at first, I switched back to wanting Joey and Dawson to be together - but not when Dawson is morose - when he's just sweet.
The romantic in me loves the idea of soulmates, so I'm rooting for them. Though it is my strong belief that even soulmates need to date other people to truly know what it is they have when they're together. That probably has something to do with the fact that these people are very immature, like many teenagers, so can't truly know themselves yet. (speaking from experience, feel free to disagree or agree as you see fit
).All in all - I'll give it another week or two, but this whole Mitch thing really got under my skin. Here's hoping nothing that ridiculous ever happens on the show again.

Can I just say that this lame way to kill off Mitch makes me not want to watch the show anymore? I mean, it IS a teen angst drama, but puh-lease. Who is so stupid they'd keep driving at a fast speed while shoving their face in the passenger foot area looking for a stupid ice cream scoop? Why even look for the stupid scoop - the ice cream is already ruined, and the mess is already made (sure, melting will continue, but the scoop was pretty tiny and how much worse a mess could it be if you wait 10 minutes). But if it's that important to you to clean it up now, pull over and do it right like any normal person would do (especially one who loves his family and has done nothing right in his life but be a "family man"). Or wait until you get home like a normal person and do it there. This just pis$ed me off.

woohoo, cornell u! Too bad it wasn't filmed there though. Cornell didn't really have those large towers though.
Where'd you live on North timewaster? I was in high rise 1 for 2 years.

Dawson's Creek 10/24
Hey DC fans...this past Wednesday I had to timer my VCR to tape this week's episode and accidently set the time for one hour later, so I missed it.
I was reading the other DC thread and know that Dawson's father dies in a car wreck and that Joey and Pacey have a talk.
Could someone please post what else, if anything, important happened. I think this is the first episode I've ever missed (pathetic, I know)...
Thanks in advance.

you missed Jenn and Charlie not having sex for 12 hours - Jack got in to his fraternity, he told them he is gay, they said they knew and that's why they wanted him in the fraternity. pacey found out why he was cutting potatoes so thin... heh ... i suppose now he's graduated to chef because that guy who hired him had him cut one of those expensive arse truffles, explaining why pacey was doing the dirty work, saying how cooking cant be taught, blah blah blah ... pacey/joey, dawson/joey... thats it

Hate to sound like a wuss, but last night's Dawson's Creek was bittersweet and sad. You really felt bad for Dawson in this episode.
But, I can't help but this show is feeling like 90210 East.

I didn't think this episode was as good as other episodes this season. I thought all the hallucinations/flashbacks seemed cheesy and repetitive. However, it'll be interesting to see what direction the storylines go after this.

I thought it was a good and sad episode. I am definitely looking forward to seeing what happens. I can't believe it, after 4 seasons, something finally happened in this show.

I didn't get to watch the whole thing because some friends brought their 2 year old over for trick or treating. But I downloaded it last night so I'll watch it this weekend. Definitely was a sad episode. Now does Dawson go back to USC to make his Dad proud, does he stay in Capeside to take care of his Mom and sister, or does he follow Joey to Boston? I think it's funny how Joey is still a little high school kid. "Oh no, Dawson doesn't need me, boo hoo." His Dad just died, give the guy some f'n space. Boy do I miss Gretchen.

Speaking of Gretchen, Sasha Alexander was on CSI last night was a prosecuting DA type, but she had dark brown hair, so I didn't think she looked as good as she did while on Dawson's Creek.

Wow, I can't believe Dawson and Jen hooked up...I wonder if they will continue to be a couple on the show or if that was just a one time thing. They certainly appear to want to be in a relationship....and Dawson will probably end up going to that film school in Boston....which will help them be together. The shit is going to hit the fan when Joey finds out, though.
Pacey is one smooth mofo....that Whitter charm works pretty well...
I'm getting pretty disappointed in Jack....he's turning out to be a jackass....although I can see why he would like the frat life and his frat brothers accepting him for who he is. Hooking up his frat bro with Joey's roommate so his frat bro could get laid was pretty disgusting on Jack's part. I'm surprised that the roommate and Joey were able to forgive him so quickly.
Joey's roommate is a blast....she's a great addition to the show, IMO.
Sorry for rambling...
