'Enterprise' Crew To Be Fired In March?
New rumors of Enterprise being cancelled.
More here.
We have it on good authority that the doomsayers are about to be proved right, and that Star Trek: Enterprise is being cancelled.
Our longstanding insider on the Paramount set, Trekspy, will soon be Trekspy no more - since they're being laid off in the first week of March. Due to the nature of Trekspy's role, this suggests that principal photography on the sound stages will finish at around the same time.
On 7 January the production team were still working on the 16th episode of the series, "Divergence". According to Trekspy, they have three or four episodes to shoot before production winds down. Note that the season was planned to run for 22 episodes.
If confirmed, the news does not come as a great surprise. Many observers expected Enterprise to be cancelled at the end of the third season, and ratings have continued to be poor this year. The first episode of the new year, "Daedalus", only brought in a meagre 1.9/3 share (meaning that only 1.9% of households with TVs were estimated to have tuned in).

Never really believed it the last 298 times it was announced. But somehow, it feels like this time it's for real.
Sorry, Manny. Too little, too late.

this (rumor of it being cancelled) appears to be circulating all over, but read http://www.trektoday.com/news/180105_02.shtml .. manny coto says they're not true..and production was scheduled to end in march *anyways* ..but take this for what it's worth..
first two paragrahs,
first two paragrahs,
Enterprise showrunner Manny Coto today denied a rumour that crew members had already been told of the show's cancellation.
"It's another inane rumour," Coto told TrekToday. "Right now, the crew is building the sets for episodes 20-21, which I'm writing. Rick [Berman] and Brannon [Braga] are writing episode 22, which is going to be fantastic!"

Like I'm going to trust anyone who adds superfluous u's into his words.
Anyone who says that is clearly a liar.

It's ironic that Voyager and Enterprise blew for a combined ten years with no problem, yet Manny Coto gives Enterprise one good year and it's struggling to survive.
Why has Paramount seemingly given Berman and Braga a license to suck?

I keep reading these threads about how it such a better show now and I have to wonder if I'm watching the same show. Sure, it is better than last season, but not much. I was bored to tears by the first mini-arc with all the people running around that looked like they were from an 80's rock video. Even Brent Spiner couldn't save it for me. The second one wasn't much better.

Yeah, it's like how when I first watched the early Voyager seasons, they kind of seemed sucky, but now when I rewatch them I can think they're kind of alright, and there are some enjoyable episodes, because I know how sucky the show got when Braga became more powerful.

Honestly if I'm not watching it then Noone is watching it. I'm a pretty big Trek fan and have followed this one up until the end of the second season and I just dropped it. Not very interested. Granted a lot of this has to do with the fact that I will probably watch it all on DVD.
I would hope that they would at least fulfill the promised 22 episodes. If nothing just so they can sell a full season for another bloated price.

After seeing the ratings come out for Friday's episode, I'm starting to see this is likely going to be the last season.
Battlestar Galactica on a cable channel had better ratings!
