Arrested Development 1/16/05

There's a new episode on tonight!

Third Baseman 01-16-05 11:19 AM

Along with Simpsons, and a full hour of Family Guy. Awesomeness!

Brent L 01-16-05 11:30 AM

It's about time. I've watched the "Afternoon Delight" episode about 25-30 times since it first aired!

mikewendt 01-16-05 01:37 PM

Can't wait! Mixed with the Family Guy... It's gonna be a great night.

the narrator 01-16-05 02:40 PM

glad a new one if finally on tonight.....looks good from the commercials I"ve seen during the game tody

Poink 01-16-05 04:14 PM

"We've lost most the outfield... and a lot of lawsuits." Or something like that. Only saw the commercial once.

dcprules 01-16-05 04:19 PM

Nice. It's been, what, a month or so since the last new Arrested and Simpsons? Now, do I TIVO the FOX shows and watch the Golden Glones or watch the FOX shows and TIVO the Golden GLobes??

TheKing 01-16-05 05:14 PM

Who cares about the golden globes?

Jackskeleton 01-16-05 07:56 PM

Jason picked up the globe. So it's all good. another season

j123vt_99 01-16-05 08:02 PM

meh...not the best, but still enjoyable as always

Third Baseman 01-16-05 08:19 PM

Thought it was great.

MrX 01-16-05 09:12 PM

"The Wall"

auto 01-16-05 09:13 PM

Pretty good episode.

Patman 01-16-05 09:34 PM

The first 10 minutes were damn funny! I was ROTLFMAO, almost literally. The wrapup was good, not great, though.

charlie bucket 01-16-05 09:41 PM

Enjoyed the episode.

GOB was great.

Agreed. I think the past couple of eps have spoiled me.

Matthew Chmiel 01-16-05 10:34 PM

"We're meeting with a guy who can't grow his own hair? WHAT THE HELL!?!?!"

"America's #3 Comedy: Homeless Dad"

Jackskeleton 01-16-05 10:39 PM

I hope you brought an extra bowl of candy!

Groucho 01-16-05 10:39 PM

Probably the weakest episode of the season to date, but still some funny stuff.

I recognized the guy who played the security guard as "Mutha" from Lucky.

sven 01-16-05 10:57 PM

Crazy....I thought it was one of the best of the season.

Red Dog 01-16-05 10:58 PM

I agree. Loved the previous softball game, although I caught that in the previews ad infinitum during the Eagles game.

Jackskeleton 01-16-05 11:04 PM

The wall.

Ted The Bug 01-16-05 11:06 PM

"Is there anything I can do?"

"Maybe if you.... go down town" (as he leans back)

"I haven't done that in 30 years!"

rotfl

DarkestPhoenix 01-17-05 12:25 AM

Would be cool if Andy Richter becomes a semi-regular guest for a while.

Bronkster 01-17-05 12:47 AM

Great show! So much stuff kept coming so fast I had to rewind a few times (and I'll watch it again later). The Gomer Pile bit was awesome!

MrBob 01-17-05 12:56 AM

Great episode, loved the fact that GOB was still in his dads suit and saying Come On! I was cracking up when micheal kissed his son, that was wrong. And of course the best part had to be the Wall. How many nicknames does Ann have now?

Breakfast with Girls 01-17-05 01:42 AM

Wow, I don't think I laughed once during the entire episode. In fact, I was having trouble keeping my attention on the show, which is really unusual, especially since I go out of my way to watch it. Oh well, they can't all be home runs.

TheKing 01-17-05 04:29 AM

You do know he has his own show, right? I mean, Quintuplets isn't a great show, certainly no Andy Richter Controls The Universe, but for typical sit-com fare, it's not bad.

the narrator 01-17-05 04:56 AM

was busy celebrating the Patriots win, and totally forgot to watch this.....damn hopefully i'll catch a replay soon

Agreed, sort of. I probably chuckled a few times, but that was it. Still mediocre Arrested Development > 95% "good" TV.

Good to see Andy Richter.

I miss Lucky.

Patman 01-17-05 06:39 AM

"You look surprised." LOL!

maxpower 01-17-05 09:04 AM

I liked George senior using a more subdued "come on" when chastising Michael in the flashback.

Cusm 01-17-05 09:44 AM

"I could knock her down. I won't, but I could"

"Jude Law" "Hey great, Young guy and the sea, we could CGI the fish"

"Get it to me before gym" "huh?" "Before lunch, with Jim, Carrey. He's the Grinch guy, but your a little too young to remember him."

JK Simmons will always be SchillinGer, especially reminded me of him when he told her to go downtown.

Derrich 01-17-05 11:36 AM

Maebe is 15?

D

guywall 01-17-05 01:00 PM

Loved this episode! So many great lines...

tofu 01-17-05 01:01 PM

Great show. Ed begley's eyebrows falling off and sticking everywhere

According to the imdb, Alia Shawkat was born in April 1989, so yeah, she would be 15.

If this doesn't make you laugh then nothing will. COME ON!

So what??

Julia Louis Dreyfus was on for two or three episodes. I'm not talking making it onto the opening credits, I'm talking about a semi-regular guest star for a while. Sheesh.

I've learned a lesson today: Don't mess with Quints.
