This show made me laugh harder than I've laughed in a long time. Vern, naked, drunk, rolling around on the scooter like he's lost had me cracking up.

I wonder, were the other seasons as funny as this? I only saw a couple of last seasons and they were OK but nothing like this.

Christopher Knight is ripped.

Season 1 was less wacko-insane but the best in my mind. Great TV. Season 2 was good (and the image of Ron Jeremy and Tammy Faye slowdancing should be TV legend) but not as good as 1 (they started doing more gimmicky stuff). Season 3 was full-on gimmick with really lame "missions" that wasted a lot of the show. Flav and Brigitte "falling in love" was a bizarre twist, but overall it was a weak season. If this season is filled with lame gimmicks that take away from the shenanigans built in to the cast, it'll suck. If they just let these people be themselves it'll be great.

The wife and I just happened upon this last night. We were laughing so loud and hard we woke the kids up. The reaction shots were priceless. But then I felt really bad for Vern. I sure hope he was playing it up for the cameras. But I suspect not.

This show was great...

I'm sure you're been facitious, but in case you're not, her name is "Da Brat." She had a couple of rap hits in the early to mid 90s, although I can't name any of them. Like most rappers from the 90s (Death Row Records, No Limit Records, etc...) she is a has-been. I think she does some producing now, but its pretty minimal.

She's a nobody. Her big hit is long forgotten. It's interesting that the rappers on the first three seasons all had huge impact on rap music (for better or worse) and Da Brat is a serious also-ran. I was surprised that she was one there since no one knows her. But then I saw Biz Markie on Celebrity Fit Club and it all made sense.

Yeah, I figured she was herself a has-been when they started talking about her hit from 1992.

She's moving from Chicago next week to live with him at his house in LA.

The only thing I know of Da Brat besides her one big hit is that she's rapped on a ton of Mariah Carey remixes and even costarred in Glitter. :lol: What a good friend Mariah is.

She may be younger than the rest but her career hasn't been relevant in years. I'd consider her as big a has-been as anyone there.

He recently did some celebrity body challenge (thus the fact that at 48 he's as fit or fitter than the male model). He starred in one of the most famous TV shows of all time. He is a highly successful businessman, and a founder of a successful high-tech company. He is (about to be) living with a model who loves to be naked.

Yep. I already knew this from her photos in the liner notes of her 'Kissproof World' solo album, plus her interview on Howard Stern. My favorite line was after someone asked if there's a difference between a pig and a perv, Jane said "I'm a perv, he's a pig."

That was the exact thought the moment I saw the "upcoming" scenes. I knew of the go-go's when I was in the 6th grade. I could pick out their songs if I heard them. I could not identify dabrat's music if money was wagered on it.

My initial impression on the guys is that they are easy going...the kind of guys you want to hang with having some brews.

What's interesting about this season is that there are so many "never-wases" on this season. 2 Reality TV "Stars" and Da Brat means half of the cast is virtually indistinuishable.

that Vern Troyer stuff was hilarious. My friend and I couldn't stop laughing. It's been a while since I've laughed at something on television other than the Daily Show or Arrested Development. Man, that moaning stuff was genius. And the fact that he rode around on the scooter naked the first day out was unreal. I'm not looking forward to the "drama" of all the da Brat stuff and whatnot. By the way, how much of a lush is Chyna? And what was up with her not wanting to give Vern his room? that was pretty messed up.

Two Reality stars? The model girl and....?

BTW, I had a question from before but I forgot it until now. The show stated that Kathy Griffin was in Pulp Fiction, but I'll be damned if I can remember her. I checked the IMDB, it didn't help because it says she played "Herself". Somebody jog my memory?

I feel sorry for chris knight, cause he is forced to be a parent figure... nobody wants that. but i like this guy already. seems to have a great head on his shoulders.

so many other great scenes. marcus asking chris if he worked out, but chris is so preoccupied with verne rolling over like a turtle... awkward conversation.

i agree with all the comments on da brat. a "never-was" in my opinion. and man oh man is jane ever cute. my wife agrees, too. as for the model, she seems to have a good head about her, not too conceited.

and why in the hell would chyna not give up the room? it was excruciatingly obvious who it was for. i agree with verne. there should be no compromise. it was his room. but chyna doesn't do well with obvious things, like the room-mate board.

you are aware that he gets with the model chick. I don't feel bad for him at all. she seems really cool, too
