My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss Cancelled?

Episode 6 was supposed to air last night (December 19), but Fox replaced it with reruns of Malcolm in the Middle and King of the Hill at the last minute. It will not air again for at least 4 weeks:

Sunday Decemeber 26 = more repeats of King of the Hill
Sunday January 2 = True Lies
Sunday January 9 = 24 Season 4 premiere

Will it return on January 16th? Will anyone remember the show then? Will they burn off the last 5 episodes on some random Friday nights or just pretend the show never happened?

Where the ratings that bad?

FOX's Big Fat Obnoxious Scheduling Fiasco: After the next new episode on December 19, FOX's My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss will go on hiatus for at least three weeks. On December 26, the day after Christmas, FOX will air repeats of King of the Hill. On January 2, FOX will air the movie True Lies. January 9 sees the the 2 hour premiere of the return of the critically praised series 24, once again nominated for a Golden Globe. By January 16, even more viewers will likely have likely locked the show in the Do Not Disturb section of their mental vault, assuming it hasn't yet been cancelled.

This means that unless the number of planned airings is radicallly clipped, the show's finale will not air January 30, 2005.

Next New "Obnoxious" Pulled: FOX has pulled the next My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss from their schedule for next week. Repeats of Malcolm in the Middle and King of the Hill wil air instead.
Maybe Fox can replay those Malcolm's that were preempted by futbol ...

I'm confused. Fox's site does list all the remaining episodes starting on January 16. This isn't really the kind of show to pull mid-season, is it? My Tivo didn't record the paint ball episode for some reason anyway.

If the ratings suck, why not?

For anybody to pull a reality show mid-season the ratings must really really suck! I kindo of like the show, it's on at a odd time for a reality show.

You'd think that if the ratings were bad, they'd air everything now in December when less people are watching tv, than in late January leading up to sweeps. Fox is dumb.

Because the next time Fox puts on a show with a payoff at the very end I might blow it off. It's not like a sitcom or even a drama that needs a big ending.
