Agreed.

I'm surprised that Jonathan stiffed Cerri. I thought that the two of them had a strong bond.

This shows me that the judges really do take into account past designs. She could have been sent home for that thang.

I did not like emilio's design, at least nowhere near as much as Seth Aaron's and myas

Mila's was terrible, the model couldn't even walk in it

Emilio's ego is getting on my nerves. He needs to remember the free pass he got on that horrible bikini. Glad Anthony is back. I hope Mila gets the boot next week but I'll bet she stays.

Was there a new episode last night?

Yes, I almost missed it because the tv listings did not say it was a new episode. Lots of stuff happened on Project Runway and the Models show afterward.

Damn - I didn't record it. WTF!

My DVR didn't record it either. Does Lifetime repeat these as much as Bravo used to?

ETA - Looks like it is on tonight at 10pm and not shown again until Thursday at 9pm, if the episode is called "Sew Much Pressure"

Lifetime Real Women will run this along with other episodes all weekend long.

Yes, it was called "Sew Much Pressure".

Thanks for the belated warning - picked it up on Friday.
Mya certainly had that old head on a young body thing going on. Moreso if she realises that she couldn't pull a full collection together.

Emilio's dress was unreal - miles above anything else on the show so far.

I think now he's a lock for the final, and seth aaron.

the other slot is completely up for grabs.

Damn Lifetime! Didn't realize it missed recording last week's episode until tonight.

I call bullshit on last night's decision. I'll spoiler for those who have not yet watched.

Spoiler:
Mila stays over Jay? Jay's fashions were much better but I knew he would go since Mila got a pass for that idiotic/stiff striped beach type thang she made a while back.

I hope Seth Aaron wins but I'm sure Emilio will.

Re: Project Runway 7 January 14

Mila should have tossed like 4 episodes ago. I dont get it. Emilio has consistently done the best work during the show, but it looks like Seth Aaron has the better collection.

I agree. Think it had more to do with wanting a balance and wanting to have a woman in the final three. Jay's designs were much better than that same old boring black and white all the time.

Re: Project Runway 7 January 14

Mila is so one dimensional. It's like she is designing 19" color TVs in the year 2010. Boring, already been done, safe. And what was up with Brandeis transforming herself into Mini-Meeeela?

This show used to be about taking chances and pushing the envelope of design. Jay certainly did that and I feel he might have won if he'd edited the 26" collar on that jacket.

I'm hoping the scenes of Emilio being so overly confident are setting him up for the big fall next week. NYC cannot contain his current ego.

I'm also hoping that Emilio doesn't win(rooting for Seth). I haven't been that impressed with his designs and have found the judges to be sniffing glue this season. He also should have gone home weeks ago with his washer bikini design. I also dislike Loreena to boot. Tim Gunn certainly has issues with Emilio as well-

Tim's Blog is a good read..
Missed it this season, thanks for the link.

I think based off what I saw I would have preferred Jay to stay in, but was okay with Mila

Here's my take on the Jay/Mila showdown. Spoiler tags for anyone that hasn't watched yet.

Spoiler:
Jay's pants all season long have made the models look like they had big hips and asses. That is not good fashion. I agree he had some cool designs, but the pants were always unflattering.

Mila's clothes were stylish and usually well-made. There was that one horrible dress that Brandise couldn't walk in. So, they weren't all winners, but I really believe she deserved to go over Jay. His clothes did look like student designs.

Voting for Seth Aaron in the final. Emilio is too hit and miss. At least Seth Aaron has a consistent and cool vision. Mila is lame. Her clothes bore me to tears. Jay wuz robbed.

Spoilered for our west coast viewers-

Spoiler:
Congratulations to Seth. I thought that all 3 did themselves proud.

Jay exposed himself as an asshole with his comment to Cerri during the reunion show. I wanted him to beat out Mila for the final spot, but after that comment, I'm glad that he got the boot.

Congrats to Seth Aaron!!

SBJ: I agree with you about Jay.

I was cheering when Seth Aaron won. He makes some crazy stuff, but what he presented (except for that purple thing) was pretty awesome.
I dislike Emilio's ego, and I really hate his damn stencil design "esosa". Egotistical and it looked damn ugly!

Mila was boring, but she does make everything look so damn clean.

LiquidSky 04-23-10 12:15 PM

Re: Project Runway 7 January 14

I would love for Seth Aaron to design a men's suit for me. Something kind of Beatles 1960s with an edge.
