Glad Kelly won.

P.S. Which did he take --- NY or Las Vegas? I would've jumped on the NYC thing in a heartbeat --- there is not a comparison b/w NYC and Las Vegas. Yuck.

I thought just the opposite.
He took NYC because he wanted to be closer to Trump. Awwww, isn't that sweet. I already commented that I would be surprised if Jen was a litigator.

Well this wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Yes, but the most awkward moment was Trump's COO saying how much he disliked Jen, then being unable to continue.
I'm dying to know what was up with that.

Yeah, Raj had an interesting arc. At first he's kind of weird and affected, then he's funny and you get to like him until you discover he's really kind of creepy.
Sort of like Ross from "Friends."

Agreed that last night's finale blew, but it was sort of interesting to watch in a train-wreck kind of way.
The idea that Trump didn't know which one he was going to hire was obviously bullshit, and the whole thing seemed to be designed to humiliate Jennifer. It just came off as being horribly tacky.

I am sure if it would've been Kevin v. Kelly, you wouldn't have seen such a lopsided discussion. There wasn't a contest in my mind b/w Kelly and Jen, and clearly the people Trump respects felt likewise. Can't blame 'em for being honest.
But I do agree with you - it was certainly scripted when Regis came out, etc.; but the people he interviewed were not reading a teleprompter. At least that much is good.

They haven't even knocked down the old building currently on the site.

She addressed Trump and George as if they were her equals - Kelly spoke very respectfully, and I am sure that was one of the factors in hiring him --- he has a respect for authority.

what turned me off on her is her pouting when it seemed like she wouldn't get chosen

Trump undoubtedly had picked Kelly, but I guarantee that Trump was rethinking his pick when Jen started defending herself. "Kelly, this is bad." She just owned that conversation.

OH PUUUULLLLLEEEEESSSSSEEEEE!
Do you also think that Andy got 'out-debated' by Jen and Sandy?
Those two morons screamed at the top of thier lungs, repeating the same lines over and over like children. Not trying to scream over there childish rants makes you a BETTER canidate in my book, not worse.
Trump knew early that Kelly was his guy, so he carried Jen to make an interesting male/female dynamic in the finals, just like Bill/Kwame made an interesting black/white dynamic.
It would be like Survivor being able to make it Chris/Julie instead of Chris/Twila just so more people are invested.
Are you honestly trying to tell me that after EVERY trusted business leader said Kelly was FAR AND AWAY the best canidate, Trump was going to pick Jen because she can talk loud without pausing for a breath!

I didn't like Jen much, but I couldn't root for Kelly to win because he is so boring. He seemed to fade into the woodwork most of the time, which to me doesn't scream great leader. I think he'd make a great middle manager, but I never felt he had enough of a personality to be an inspiring leader.
Plus having yet another bland white male win this thing was kind of predictable and boring. Too bad most of the female contestants were shrill bitches this year.

It was pretty obvious that Kelly was going to win. Felt sorry for Jen though. The next seasons looks interesting, but I wonder how that will work out, since they put a lot of emphasis on how well the contestants were educated.

I think it would've been more predictable to have a black woman win it in today's world.

I didn't care much for this season's apprentice. More than half of the tasks were hawking corporate products. It felt like one big ad. This show cannot hold a candle to TAR which also has corporate sponsers but doesn't shove it down your throats like Apprentice or Survivor.
Anyway, I didn't care for any of the contestants but I ended up rooting for Jennifer because everyone was ragging on her. I am one who thought the interviews were unscripted. Wouldn't you think the producers would have tried to balance it out more by finding people that supported Jen i.e. interview the people first (get a balanced view) before putting them on. That whole part seemed amateurish and unbalanced. Even if Kelly was going to win, they failed in offering much suspense. Jen also defended herself quite well. I would have hired her over Kelly just for the shock value but of course Trump went with the safe choice.
