Exactly my point. He's great. One of the biggest turnarounds in Survivor history.
Altho I wouldn't specifically say he orchestrated anything. More like "Let's cause trouble and see what happens." Maybe he thought it might go that way, but maybe not. If Ami had come to him and said "we're getting rid of Scout because of what you said," he might have gone along with that, although the current scenario is the best for him.

Plus, thier whole power play was impossible without Eliza's vote, and it seems Chris is the only one who was capable of convincing the flighty Eliza to go along...Scout and Twila would NEVER have been able to pull it off.

I watched some insider clips and two things struck me:
Twila was smarter about flipping things than I thought. She's no lil' Lill. I may not like her, but she's playing for real.
Julie knew Ami was out. While voting, Ami dogs Scout in her comments, but Julie resignedly says "my vote doesn't count tonight." Weird.

I still give Chris all the credit in the world. I don't think either of them had been too strategic until the last 2-3 eps but they're both good. Chris is the one we're rooting for at this point.
