What was with the subliminal message when Lynette was halucinating about Mary Alice? I deleted it from my Tivo, so I can't quote it, but something about her being tricked?

The cross-cutting between Susan/Mike and Paul/Huber would have been more interesting if Mike was into strangulation sex, and cross-cutting those scenes would have been confusing to the viewer, and heightened the viewer's tension. Of course, that would have been Twin Peaks dark, and I doubt DH would go there... yet.

just as an aside, with felicity huffman and brenda strong in the same show again, i keep thinking back to the line from sports night where they are all in the meeting and dan tells strong's character "he's talkin about you, you freak!". sorry i just had to put that in there. and now to our regularly scheduled show...
i did like the last 15 minutes and my first thought about the baby was an abortion but i can't see the writers taking the easy way out. i am also wondering if mike and susan actually did the deed considering last week's EW made it seem like that it wouldn't happen anytime soon.

Pretty good episode.
Good to see Lynette's other children are still alive and it's good to see the addiction story appears to be coming to an end.
The scenes with Susan and Mike's dog were funny
Andrew needs a beating.

So Susan was strong enough to hold herself in the floor for God knows how long, but she isn't strong enough to simply lift herself out? That was a little farfetched to me.

I think that the son did something to Dana, and MA just covered it up so he wouldn't get into any trouble. It mirrors what Bree is going through now. Bree will find out but not tell anyone, since she knows what it is to cover up an serious accident for a child.

Mary Alice's son must have been what happened to Dana. The writers are going somewhere with his behavior disorder.....
Well, there goes the neighborhood's busy-body. Mrs. Huber had some great moments.

Another good episode this week, but it's starting to get just the slightest bit formulaic...
It's becoming almost like a running gag for Susan to get into some sort of slapstick situation. Now that I think of it, has an episode gone by where she hasn't done something incredibly embarrasing/clumsy/stupid? The show hasn't been on that long, and she's already burned down a house, almost choked Mike's dog, gotten locked out of her house naked, been knocked out by a mechanical bull, and fallen through a floor. Speaking of which, there must have been something seriously wrong with that floor for it to have given so easily.
Either way, it's getting a little tiring. Sure, it's emphasizing the fact that she's got horrible luck, is quite clumsy, and really has a problem with thinking things through, but we don't need to be reminded of it every episode.
I don't know what's up with Gabrielle. I speculated in last week's thread that some part of her wants out of her marriage and wants to get caught, but it seems to be more than that. From what we've seen so far, the thing that disappointed her most was that Carlos only way of expressing feelings for her was to buy her things. However, even after he came straight out and said that that's not how he wants to live, she didn't seem to care. I mean, from what we've seen of Carlos so far, what he said was a pretty big change for him, yet Gabrielle didn't seem to care. Her conversation with the priest does show us that she definitely realizes that what she's doing is wrong.
I was a little disappointed that Mrs Huber was the one to die after all. The fakeouts leading up to it before hand were great, though. Between Bree, Susan, and Lynette almost getting run over by that car (which looked a lot like Susan's ex's car, IIRC), to Lynette's suicide hallucination, to Bree hanging out in the bad part of town, they did make the attempt to mix things up, even if the end result was a little predictable.
I wonder if Mrs. Huber will be joining Mary Alice in the voiceovers now....

Here's an interesting thought.... We can't actually be 100% sure that Mrs. Huber is actually dead. All we saw was her getting hit in the head, choked (still quite alive when being choked), and then being wrapped in a rug. However, it's always theoretically possible that he didn't actually kill her and stopped strangling her when she passed out.

Was it wrong if I thought "Ding Dong, the witch is dead" when Huber was killed?
And could it be that they'll just be having her back in flashbacks rather than her being still alive?
Another good episode. It sucks that they're playing the Mitch Albom movie next week.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows.
Gabbi and Carlos had an agreement before marriage that they wouldn't have any children? I'm surprised that mama would allow this, although it is pretty obvious that she didn't like gabbi from the start. Any chance that now that the gardner is done with her that she'll move on to Andrew? It could even be a way to get back at him for ending it..... screwing your girlfriend's sibling........
I was also surprised that they revieled the letter writer so quickly (although I had assumed that it was her since the incident with the measuring cup), but we still don't know exactly what happened to Dana. My theory is that there was an accident that either the son caused or that the son feels was his fault. Why else would the father go to all of the trouble of burying the trunk (body?) under the pool. The father had a temper, as we've seen, so maybe MA cheated on him and Dana was the result of an affair, and when the father found out, took it out on the kid. I think we still have alot to see with this story.
And I still have no theories about why Mike is there.......... i have a feeling that this will be the cliff hanger at the end of the season.

We don't know EXACTLY why, but we were told that he was hired by 'old friend's' (forget her name) father to find his missing daughter. Last place she was seen was the cowboy bar.....
