Survivor - 11/25

Spoiler:
I really hope everyone here watched or taped this week's episode. If not, I hope CBS replays it. Best episode yet!

Well, there you go,
Spoiler:
the generational gap comes into play the older ones have gotten the upper hand over the young gals.

I guess Ami wasn't as man-hating as she has been made out to be,
Spoiler:
though it could easily prove to be her downfall since she just lost an ally and by targetting Eliza, she exposed the younger gals for elimination, and that's how it played out. Had Ami pressed for Chris to be booted, Eliza would have been brought into the fold, and she'd vote to boot Chris to keep herself in the game. Chris is alive for another tribal council.

Bah!

Finally! It was about damn_time that somebody started to use their brain and do the only smart thing. Maybe there is some hope for this season after all.

Ami, meanwhile, is quickly moving her way up the list of most despised Survivor contestants. I can not stand the sense of entitlement.

Very happy with tonight's ep.

The end of tonight's tribal council is officially my favorite Survivor moment EVER.
Spoiler:
The way Ami looked at Eliza and nodded to her when her name came up those first 2 times and the way Eliza just looked at her when the last vote was read......classic!

Maxflier, I agree 100%. When it happened, I actually laughed out loud and made a mental note that it would go down as one of my favorite moments on any season. It all came together so nicely.

I pumped my fist when the last vote was read and saw the look on Ami's face!

Plus Sarge and Chad elbowing each other and laughing was CLASSIC!

That was the best part of the whole ep.

And Julie is still around.

Glad to see that this awful group of people are finally starting to use their brains and work together.

Agreed on all counts. Julie is still a sight to see. Hopefully she can work her way in with Chris, Eliza, and the geezers.

And did anybody else think that Julie tanked the final question on purpose so Eliza could win? I thought it obvious, but maybe it is just me?

Julie aint no dummy, winning reward when your guest would be a GOOD FRIEND while other peoples Girlfriends, Mothers, and Children are present would lead to major resentment exposure.

Loved the way Julie's shorts rode up when she was hugging her boyfriend.

Finally some excitement.

It's about time Twila woke up and got rid of Leanne and hopefully Amy next week.

The looks on Amy and Leanne's face was priceless.
Sarge and Chad laughing was also great !

also, Chris is still an idiot in my book. He couldn't even come up with the idea to bring Eliza into an alliance with him. Twila had to tell him. She told him that she hasn't even tried talking to the wild card yet. Chris says, you mean you (Twila)? Then he says "Scout?" Finally Twila has to say, Eliza.

It's also interesting that Scout is in an alliance with Eliza when she hates her so much. I guess a spot in the Final 4 is much more important to her.

I never post about Survivor, but when I saw this tribal council, I immediately thought, "I have to go to the TV Talk Survivor thread!" What a great reversal. And the reaction shots were brilliant. Julie had the most bewildered look on her face. Absolutely amazing.

Let's review the evidence:

1) Likes to be around women
2) Hates men
3) Is openly a lesbian

Magic 8-ball says: "Results unclear. Ask again later."

Anyone else disappointed that she and her lady friend didn't smooch even a little?

I also liked after Leann left and Ami stood there shaking her head, and it cut to Scout looking ever so proud and vindicated. Ami knew that if it weren't for that little immunity necklace, she would have been gone.

I could see there being a question about whether Leann is a lesbian, but how could you mistake Ami?

As for the (lack of) kissing, I assume it was edited out. Surely one of the two couples shared a kiss.

Scout and her partner look frighteningly similar.

Twila could have done this 4 weeks ago and been in a better alliance that will be more loyal to her. I loved TC this week, the way Eliza kept looking at Chris and Ami. Now if Ami can not twist Scout and Twila back into her group.

I don't agree. I think at that point she would have been 5th. Sarge, Chad, Chris, Rory. This way its her, Scout, Chris and Eliza. And her and Scout most likely have a alliance for final 2. The other way she was going into an alliance where she was the odd person out. This way she is the head of the alliance.

The only thing that sucked was that they played out the Chris "I'm going home" way too much. You could tell a swing was coming during the challenge.

And I'm sorry but did anybody really think that the loved ones were really back home during the online chat?

I can't wait to see the cat fights next week.
