Just to put it simply, a great episode.
Glad to see there are some vulcans like the ones we are more familiar with. Good to see Soval becoming like SAREK in his understanding and trust of the humans.
Eagerly anticipating the conclusion.

Very entertaining episode with lots of cool previous Trek references. Glad to see they finally recognized just how un-Vulcan-like the ones we've seen so far have been.
If anybody wants to check out a "hmmmm" that could play into what we've seen so far, rewatch the final cave scene in "Gambit Part 2" from TNG. What was discussed and the timeframe for it actually fits in quite nicely with this Enterprise 3 parter.

First -- i never really got into ST until Voyager, so i don't know much about the ST universe history, although i have seen previous ST movies.
In any case, the 34th St Loews in NYC had a free showing of Nemesis last night (i didn't realize this was released in 2002! i could have rented this movie at home for less than the $4 roundtrip subway ride to the theater!
), and although i found the movie to be pretty dumb, it did leave me with a few questions -- but one main one which i can't figure out how to research..
Is Dr. Soong from the recent Enterprise arc the same person they mentioned as the "father" of Data/B-4 ? Or are they just related somehow? If they ARE the same person, how did this guy go from creating superhumans to androids?

No, they're not the same person. The Soong of Enterprise is the great, great..etc...grandfather of the Soong that created Data. The end of the trilogy has the Enterprise Soong switching his scientific pursuits from eugenics to robotics and stating it would take a few generations to get it right.
