The Simpsons 11/14
Pretty funny show. Bart turns into Hef and learns the facts of life. Lisa redeems Marge from her lust to win the bakeoff. The episode is coming to a close.
Marge: Thanks honey, for saving me from myself.
Homer: And Marge, you'll always be the best chef in our house.
Marge: Ahhhh, B [bleep] D...
So now The Simpsons, of all shows, can't even use the term BFD?!!??
WTF?
The closing scene with James Caan was great though.

This episode was quite funny, IMO. Much better than last week's.
I was hoping Hef would've made a guest appearance, but James Caan was good. Funnily enough, I just watched "The Godfather" this afternoon.
Loved Homer's line: "Why would I want to look at naked women that I'm not married to? How would I know how they could improve me?"
Also liked the sign outside of the treehouse: "You must be at least this cool to enter" with a picture of Milhouse.

I think the "f" in BFD was quieted down here in San Diego.
I'm ghetto and have no DVR, so I can't rewind and find out for sure. Oh well.
Good episode, though.

I suppose you supported the studios' right to exert creative control when they colorized It's a Wonderful Life, or when they released Castle Keep in 4:3?

The studio has the right to do that because the own the product. In this case, some areas felt that they didn't want to air that. In all due respect, it is within their ability to do so. They are still part of the fox "Family" and it is a creative control choice. If someone outside of a fox approved/allowed company did this, then you may have a case. Even then. They are presenting you the show. They have the ability to do this.
Like it or not, it's done. deal.

From Merriam-Webster:
Nothing in your response is inconsistent with this definition. So I'm still not sure where your objection to the term is coming from.

Using that definition, 100% of network shows qualifiy as being "censored." 100%.
(btw, no bleeping here...and I'm in Utah!)
