Well, Chloe is now officially 18 years old on the show, so if Allison starts to look older, more mature, her being 18 on the show make it reasonable for her to have her appearance change from teeny-bopper to young adult female.

Just one other question that I'm wondering about...I know this isn't the comic continuity, but in the comics, has Superman ever lost his powers so much to so many different things? Lightning (electricity), Magical Rock (switched bodies), Sorcerer's Spell, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a Kryptonite episode somewhere...you'd think one day someone would just kill Clark before he figured out a way to reverse the effects!

Fun episode. Didn't really like how "magic" got rid of Clark's powers since we all know he's Solar-powered. But since the tattoo's still on Lana's back and and on the cave wall, I hope it wasn't really "magic" that the witches were channeling but some Kryptonian power source provided by the crystals.
x 100 for the party scene especially after The Spell was cast.

Well, I honestly didn't know what to think about this episode when I saw the previews, but it was a fun and entertaining episode.
-Lois "checking out" her "new" body

-Clark dancing and talking to the princeton guy
-Lex playing the piano non-stop
(I don't know what was so funny about it, but I was laughing my ass off how he was just going crazy on that piano for like 2 days straight and completely ignoring Clark).
-Lois in the witch outfit
-Clark saying that magic could hurt him
(a good nod to future "supervillians" being able to hurt the man of steel).
-Clark getting knocked down by the flying wagon wheel or whatever that was
(I personally think it would've been cooler just to have the damn wheel shatter on impact).
Oh, and did I mention Lois?

This show needs Erica Durance in every ep.

Lois was particularly
-worthy in her outfit. Gotta love when she pretty much fondled her assets after Lana brought the witches back. Bad Lana.
Yeah, when she was making that potion, I really thought I was watching an episode of Charmed. She could fit right in there. Lana forcing Lex to keep playing the piano was cool.
The party was blatent rip-off of Risky Business but still pretty humorous.
Overall, a fun episode.

Superman in college?
I think in the comics, Superman didn't attend Metropolis U.
After high school, he took 8 years and traveled the world to learn more about humanity since he has never lived outside of Smallville.
After wandering the world for 8 years, he went to the Daily Planet and got a job as a reporter. In the Christopher Reeve movies, they never showed him going to a university.
But for TV, they may continue Smallville with Metropolis, with the whole gang attending Metropolis U. Then, they can get away from the Kryptonite freaks of the week and bring on some classic DC villains and heroes.

If anyone remembers the late 80s (or early 90s - can't remember) syndicated series Superboy, that took place during Clark's college years.

I was expecting to hate this ep, but like the rest of the season, this ep was really fun. The banter between the three girls was nice.
Something that's getting on my nerves a bit. It's obvious that the show isn't trying to stay absolutely true to the Superman mythos and thats fine. I just want to know WHAT THE FRELLING DEAL IS WITH THE DAMN CAVES ALREADY!!!! Ok, besides that I'm loving this season.

The dance scene actaully reminded me of the ending to an early Angel episode. During the end credits two characters were dancing really awfully - it was hilarious!

I actually liked this episode quite a bit, albeit it's similarity to charmed. I thought it was interesting, and I definitely liked seeing bad Lana. If we could get bad Lana and Lois in every episode that would be great. Hell, I would settle for Lois to be a regular. I definitely loved when she uh, checked out her new body.
I thought Kristin Kreuk did a good job acting. For once I didn't want to bitch slap Lana this season.

So we've had Evil Clark, Evil Pete, Evil Lana, Evil Jason, Evil Lois, Evil Chloe....are we ever going to see Evil Lex?
Breaking the scissors on Clark's hair was a nice touch, but it begs the question - how have the Kents been cutting Clark's hair all these years?
