Csi: Ny 10/27
Average episode last night and who knew that there is morse code among the turntable DJ crowd?
One thing about Sinise that is nagging at me though. He signs on as the lead of this 3rd CSI franchise under one condition: his character (Mac) be more character-driven than the other two. However, among the handfull of episodes that we have seen thus far, he is the most one-dimensional character across all the CSI leads.

Well I missed the epsiode since my TiVo thought it was a repeat, seeing as it thought the CSI Rerun last week counted as the new CSI:NY, oh well.... maybe next time.
And as for the one-dimensionality of the Mac Taylor, Sinese wanted a more character driven storyline, but the after he signed on the studio reneged that part of the clause. They talk about it in last weeks EW article ("Grime of the Century").

I didn't think it was very good.
Sinise and Kanakaredes got the push as the stars of the show but their characters are both boring so far. Danny and Aidan are much more intersting.

This show was on this week? I recorded it on TiVo, but when I went to watch it there was a voiceover saying it wasn't on this week and they went on to air repeat CSI episode. Did CBS not do this in every market?
