24 Promo just aired on Fox...

Looked pretty cool. Showed Jack behind a sniper rifle. What appeared to be an interrogation room similar to CTU, and some F-16's doing a low fly in the city. Can't wait until January.

Couldn't be THAT hot unless Reiko makes an appearance in the promo:

Day 4 Threat Speculation

Okay, we've had a presidential assassination, a nuclear bomb, and a virus in the first three seasons. Anyone care to take a shot at what Fox might have in store for Day 4? And will Jack Bauer ever get to deal with a situation not primarily in Los Angeles?

I'm guessing since most of the cast isn't coming back that this season will be set primarily away from CTU (at least the first part of it). But then again, Jack spend most of the first half of last season AWAY from Los Angeles...so he'll probably make his way back to LA and CTU before Season 4 closes out.

I am predicting they'll kill off Jack at the end of this season. They've been talking about it for the past two seasons - they'll probably do it this time around.

Spoiler:
Sounds like there will be some sort of threat on a bus, possibly with Middle Eastern connections.

I have never seen 24, but based on the great buzz here and elsewhere, I bought Season 1 during Amazon's recent $14.99 sale. My first blind buy.

The wife and I saw the first episode last night. Our collective opinion was: "eh, ok, I guess". Does it get better as the season continues? At what point should I expect it to really grab me?

Season four will be about judgment day and the end of the world... and Jack has exactly 24 hours to stop it.

You mean it happens on Election Day?!

Jack has 24 hours to get people to select "John Kerry" on their ballots...the world hangs in the balance!

[Okay - lame joke from a left-winger...feel free to flame.]

How does electing the Anti-Christ prevent judgment day?

Well you can't exactly judge a show on one episode. Especially the first one. No offense but that is a pretty stupid question. It did when best Drama at the Emmy's last year, I believe. There is a reason for that. You will have to watch more than 44 minutes of the story.

Yeah - I mean you DO own it. Just watch the whole thing and THEN decide.

When did 24 ever "when" the Best Drama Emmy? As for the rest of your statement, it's too easy to respond to.
