I think that the kid of Mary Alice is the one with the problem, and the note was about him.
Was the note directly addressed to MA? I can't remember.
Great episode, though I agree the whole locked out naked was ridiculous.

Yeah, Gabrielle is a stone cold fox, but Teri Hatcher is still looking OH so good, and Gabrielle can't quite compete with her imo. [quagmire] heh... ALright. [/quagmire]

Between this and Boston Legal, Sunday nights on ABC are for their dramas.

So did anyone catch what was on the news report that Mary Alice's husband turned off (that the son was watching before he "fell asleep")? It sounded like they said that human remains had been found in the trunk he wrapped in plastic and tried to sink in the lake. Maybe the son killed someone? Or the husband did, but the wife knew and couldn't take it when the note arrived? The husband seemed to get upset when he heard about the note, like it was his fault his wife killed herself due to the note...
Such a great show!!

Just to clarify some points:
The envelope the letter was in was addressed to Mary Alice.
Teri Hatcher didn't mention the letter when she spoke with Mary Alice's husband. She apparently intended to, but it never actually came up.
On the newscast towards the end, the reporter said that authorities had discovered what appeared to be human remains in the box.
