Or are the ones unlabeled on 7/20 the entire first season? There are 10 slots there - looks like a marathon, perhaps?

Wednesday July 27 season premiere at 8. I was looking at the commercial and they were showing quick clips, one of them was with the night vision camera situated at a door with a window that would make you a blurred figure if you stood behind it, and it had a blurred figure pass by it, probably the highlight of the commercial i can't wait!

"Ghost Hunters" Second Season - SciFi Channel
The second season started just last night and I of course missed it. Anyone know if and when this first episode will get repeated over the weekend - I'm having problems navigating around SciFi.com website for this information.

I don't think this episode is scheduled as a repeat yet. It was aired twice last night. Airtimes can be found at http://www.scifi.com/ghosthunters/ [Edit: Nevermind, looks like poster above says it is scheduled for later]
I am glad that this show is back; it was one of my surprise favorites from last year. You can tell that the group made a little bank with the SciFi channel:
It seemed that this episode showed more internal conflict than actual ghost hunting, but I suppose that is because it was the first show of the season, and needed to introduce the members to the new viewing audience.

1st episode: A southern mansion near the bayou, impressive things, using the infra-red camera (the colorful kind not greenish) the lead investigators are walking and right in front of them on the camera a shape is picked up that passes right passed them. Then the shadow near the opaque window door.
2nd episode: A house, not much picked up just the lead investigator got a strange red burn on his back, the blood vessels popped.

So is anybody still watching this? The finale last night was the first time in two seasons that chills have run up my spine. That infrared image was about the spookiest thing I've seen on TV. People seem to criticize this show becaue they mostly don't find anything, but I think that when they do & try so hard to debunk it, it only makes what they DO find all the better. Unlike that British show where they find 'ghosts' every week.

I'm bumping this thread up because I just watched the final episode of season two which was filmed at the hotel that inspired "The Shining."
I've been watching this show all along, thinking that the TAPS members were a bunch of well-meaning guys who, unfortunately, have little or no understanding of what science is. Any "evidence" they've gathered, I have assumed was faked by either the production company, or by the owners of the property being investigated. I believed that the TAPS guys were honest, and that they were being duped along with the TV audience.
But then I saw this last episode, where the two major pieces of "evidence" both were very obviously faked, and both invloved the TAPS guys. This changed my opinion of the entire run of the show, and more importantly, of the investigators. If they would cheat for this episode, they have probably been doing so all along. I personally don't believe in anything paranormal, but I did believe these guys were genuine. I'll probably watch the third season, but not with the same attitude I had before.

Ghost Hunters anyone?
Season 3 just started this past Wednesday (11th)....anyone else not missed an episode since season 1? The last few episodes from last season and this first episode (at the Bird Cage in Tombstone, AZ) were quite eventful. I occasionally view the TAPS board after a show, but wondered if anyone here watches the show religiously?
BTW - this is on SciFi Wednesday nights.

I don't know about it being staged, but at the very least I've found it pretty lame. Every episode I've watched so far is nearly exactly the same:
1. People hearing noises or feeling cold chills or whatever.
2. TAPS comes with all their fancy equipment and they set up.
3. We get to see them talking about stupid problems while they're "investigating".
4. They don't find anything, and/or they debunk the stuff the homeowner was experiencing.
I prefer the shows that basically show a collection of actual photographic/video/audio evidence of strange stuff from around the world.

The Wife and I love GH and watch it every week. She's much more of a believer than me in these type of things, but I do enjoy the show a lot.

I dig this show and I'm glad it's back. This episode was eventful, but I wish they could've caught half the shit they "saw" on camera. Oh well, isn't that usually how it goes?
I did like the EVP of the old-timey music playing in the background. That was weird...
