Thanks for the reminder.

And I just checked Yahoo's TV Listings and noticed that ABC is airing the freakin' Rams game, so I have to wait until that is over to catch this and Boston Legal.

My Yahoo guide says it will be rebroadcast Saturday, Oct 9 at 10:00 PM. That's good cause I'm backed up at 9:00 with Cold Case running over. Looks like football will put CBS a half hour behind.

However, here in Eastern zone, ABC has AFV on, and looks to be on schedule.

I personally loved the show. Very funny, and the performances by the cast were just phenomenal. I'll definitely be tuning in next week to see what happens next.

I thought this was a very entertaining show.

The premise is very interesting and the character set ups were very intriguing.

Really good to see Teri Hatcher back on the tube.

I find "Martha Stewart" to be creepy and almost robotlike.

Tuning in next week for sure. Gonna try and get my wife to watch the repeat this Saturday.

One important thing about this show for me, I actually find myself caring about the characters. Not so much the men, but the women! I was when the one lady rushed home to mow that lawn!!
Red Martha Stewart is a little creepy in the Stepford kind of way, but I am interested to see what plotlines develop for her.

The blonde lady with the 5 kids or whatever, she wasn't all that interesting so far.

Also, gotta see what's up with 'plumber, 'cept he's not really a plumber' dude.

I'll keep watching, just to see what they develop.

As I mentioned in the Boston Legal thread, Sunday nights next week will feature 4 ex-Melrose Place cast members: Marcia Cross (the redhead), and Doug Savant (plays Felicity Huffman's husband on the show), and also Daphne Zuniga on American Dreams, and Kelly Rutherford on Boston Legal.

Originally it was Sheryl Lee that played the Mary Alice character (the dead wife that narrates), but they bring in Brenda Strong, who also plays the dead wife in Everwood on the WB. It makes you wonder when you only get work as a dead character.

Anyhow, I liked the intros for the 4 main housewives and their situation. It could get really soapy and outlandish, who knows.

I really enjoyed the premiere. Like cilffzig, I find myself caring about the characters which for me is an important element to keep me interested. I can't wait to see how this show unfolds.

I really liked it.

Great intro to all the characters.

I barely recognized Nicolette Sheridan

Great show. I was surprised to see Matt from Melrose Place on the show. Is Kelly Rutherford going to be a guest or regular on BL?

And does anyone know why Sheryl Lee was replaced?

I wasn't sure if I would like this show, but I gave it a shot. I am glad I did. It was interesting to see how "perfect" families are never perfect. The way they ended it hooked me...I need to know what the dead lady did, and what is under the pool

yeah same for me.. I did not think it would be the sort of show to have story line hooks beyond if a husband is cheating or not.... ah but it does.. All sort of ones with the pool and other twists, that are also mentioned in others post in this thread.. Sweet...

plus it has that good trashy tv vibe that is missing from some other shows.. Ya know what I mean... Melrose place sort of over the top level of good trashy vibe

they also did a very good job of spreading the show time wise out over all the families.. Everyone seemed to got a good amount of time and issues covered..

After the huge let down of some other new shows *cough* LAX, Medical Investigations *cough* that I thought were going to be better then they turned out, nice to see this show surprise me with it being pretty good..

Great start! Here's hoping they can keep it going! Just the right amount of everything.

How long until Marcia Cross flips her wig?

Loved it!

I too was impresses with last night's season premiere. It gave a great intro to all the characters and I like the style it chose to narrate. Without narration, it would have been difficult to introduce the audience to everybody, but I think it did it quite nicely and effectively. I also like the, "some things are not as they seem" mystery vibe that it established. Great to see Teri Hatcher back on TV (who's looking pretty hot at 40 years young, BTW).

I agree the one part at the dinner table looked like it came right out of the movie.

That was probably the funniest scene in the whole episode. I loved when the daughter was begging her brother to apologize, then the father does nothing to stop the argument except say "pass the salt?".

I saw the show and liked it as well. I had very low expectations and only saw it because Teri Hatcher is in the show. But I'm glad to have seen it and will tune in next week.

She looked like an ugly bomb hit her!

BTW, Teri Hatcher's daughter has to be the weirdest looking kid in recent memory since the Michael Jackson-face on Nip/Tuck.
